A good basic fruit cage
The cage arrived promptly and was well packed. All the parts were there, and all in their plastic bags (unlike some earlier reviews). The instructions were clear, and assembly was straightforward. The tubes fitted snugly into the connectors, just enough pressure needed to give confidence that the tubes won't come out. There was plenty of mesh netting (so maybe the manufacturer has been reading these reviews!) and this wasn't too difficult to fit, although I used reusable cable ties rather than the ones supplied with the cage, so I could easily adjust the netting as I fitted it. If you haven't got these, perhaps clothes pegs or garden clips might be the easiest way to fix the netting temporarily before the permanent fix. The velcro fastenings for entry are a bit fiddly, but do the job. The frame is quite lightweight, but once the mesh is clipped on it stiffens it up, and feels strong enough to stand up to normal use and spring/summer weather. However, I'll taking it down for the winter months. Good value for money!

Easy to construct, seems sturdy enough for price.
Frame easy to put together. Quite sturdy. Good netting whuch seens strong enough to last a couple of years. improvements could be bigger cable ties (not good if you haven't got smalk fingers or good eyesight). Stakes could be a little longer. On the whole happy with the product so far!

Fruit cage
Goes together easily despite miniature writing on the instruction sheet. Looks very square and strong. Very good value.

Good product but poor after sales service!
The fruit cage is excellent value for money but unfortunately the ground stakes were missing and the netting was not quite long enough to completely go round the frame! I tried to contact the seller but after 3 or 4 automated messages and 3 suggestions to return the cage for a full refund I have given up! I tacked on an old piece of netting to make it fit and found a few spare pegs to secure it down. Very disappointed in the customer service - my messages were clearly read by a robot and as such it understood.

Side netting Too short by 30 cm
I had hoped for a better 2m Garden Fruit Vegetable Protective Cage. The frame work went together well and seemed strong enough and the top netting fitted well. When it came to fitting the side netting I was most disappointed for as much as I tried I could not stretch the length of the netting any more, it was 30 cm. too short! I ended up by trimming the side net to the correct height and โsewing โtwo pieces together to make up the shortage on the length. Itโs a pity the manufacturer of this protective cage could not supply the correct length of side netting. Therefore I cannot recommend this protective cage for this reason.

Great value for money. Decent quality
This is a decent quality product that goes together well. The kit was complete (nothing missing) and the product is considerably cheaper and also stronger than an upmarket brand that I purchased before. The main downside for me was the fixed size though I guess you could cut the tubes if you wanted to make it smaller. One reviewer said on here that you could have it any way up. This is true in theory but it messes up the nets as those assume you are having it the way round given in the instructions. The instructions were not brilliant but ok (a bit of common sense required). One instruction I would have done differently though - I would have fixed the nets on the side first then the top as I found butterflies could get through the gaps at the top where the side nets were sticking up over the roof (not any more!). On balance though this is definitely a good value for money fruit or vegetable cage and I would recommend.

Better than I thought at this price!
It was easy to put together and kept the cabbage white Butterflies from laying their eggs on my replacement cabbages. It was tall enough for me to stand up in - I am 5 foot 7inches. I have left it up over the winter and just put metal hooks on the base layer of metal and it is still standing! Looking good!
