There are no screws to screw together the front knob to the back knob. Only 4 little screws. 2 for the strike plate and 2 for the latch end. I got 6 of these. Not a single individual box has the two screws needed. Okay if you’ve read this far then I’ll tell you the two screws to mate the front and back of the knobs are screwed into the front half of the knob. I looked for 10 minutes before I figured this out. The instructions are as generic as they can get and don’t tell you this.

These doorknobs were a cute pop against our white doors. The price allowed us to install new black doorknobs on about a dozen doors throughout our new home! The modern design is classic and simple. Would go well in a number of style themes. So far so good o sturdiness. They don't feel cheap and were easy for my husband to install. Finding matte black can be tricky and pricey but these were perfect! Will update with pictures soon!

Took less than 5 minutes to install and I love the matte black. My toddler locked himself in a room and with the help of a quarter, had him out in 30 seconds!! No need to find a key that you will lose in a week!!

After installing these, they worked OK. For about a week.Then one day my wife said, "one of the locks is sticking out of the door funny" and had to come around the house because it prevented her from unlocking that door.I went to inspect by putting my key in, and seeing if it would push back. It didn't. Then the cylinder came out with my key, dumping springs and tumblers everywhere.Awesome. So I contacted Amazon to return it and advise them it'd be missing parts (tumblers flying out onto my back patio under spring pressure aren't going to be easy to locate). They agreed, and I went to put my old locks back until my replacement order came in the mail.In the process of disassembling the other door, I found the other one had done the exact same thing! It just hadn't let go yet. If we had gone out and locked the door behind us, we may have had no way back into the house without having to break/bend something!The third set never made it out of the box, and won't because it's going back to Amazon for a refund.Do not buy this kit; it's trash.

Purchased private lock, deadblot and passage knobs1) Doesn't fit standard pre cut door.2) Really light weight. Doesn't feel like it will last a year let alone 5 or 10.3) Product was chipped and coloured in with a permanent marker upon arrival. (Each box had this issue, which was 3 different products.)4) Keys didn't work for all the knobs or was missing keys.Needless to say. I was not pleased.

The door knob itself is nice reasonable price. The strike plate was bent and scratched up it was used not new someone had painted one side of it white so was the metal piece that goes on the door. It was obvious when I opened the package that I received someone else's return.

The screw holes are located behind the knob and require an angle for sinking that is impossible. Cheap screws are included with the knobs, which, even with pilot holes drilled, do not sink before becoming completely stripped. Halfway through trying to install the knob, the black matte finish scratches off easily. These doorknobs are garbage. Spend a bit more and buy your knobs in person at a local hardware store and not a company featured on Amazon. We are disgusted.

These are budget knobs. Probably overpriced for the quality. I installed them in the basement and they look fine and operate as expected. Don’t use these in high use areas of the house as they won’t last long.
