40 Days of Prayer and Fasting Paperback – February 1, 2007

I just recently discovered Mehesh Chavda'a books. All of them have been what I have been seeking out for years! He teaches from EXPERIENCES, not from theories. His books are packed with healings, deliverances, miracles! Your jaw will be hanging open in awe of what Father God STILL does today!This book in particular, should be pared with Mahesh's other books: "The Hidden Power Of Prayer & Fasting", and "The hidden power Of Watching & Praying". They are PACKED with EXPERIENCES of healings, miracles and deliverances! It's so refreshing and exciting to see how Father God is still truly, the same yesterday and today! (Hebrews 13:8)I HIGHLY recommend his books! :)

This is an excellent book. A great follow-up to Mr. Chavda's original book on prayer and fasting. If you are looking for a resource to teach on the positive aspects of fasting, this is the one to choose.

I am on day 9 and I am already paked with information that’s stirring up faith in my heart to fast and pray. My life will never be the same in Jesus name!

I purchased this book hoping to learn how to go on a 40 day fast. However, this book is only a devotional with each day (beginning with day 1) being a devotion. If ever I do go on a 40 day fast, I am sure this will be a very beneficial book.

This book was an eye-opener to me. I had never read any book on fasting. I am so happy I did. This book encouraged me to fast for the many reasons, and I did. Immediately after I completed a 3 day fasting I felt closer to God and His presence felt stronger!

Such a wealth of information. You are truly motivated to stay in God's presence through this time of fasting and prayer.

I'm still reading it as it's a devotional, It might be a bit to advance for me. I bought this book because I was reading a book called ' The hidden powers of speaking in tongues,' by the same author, Mahesh Chavda. I was able to relate to that book more.Not an easy book to follow.
