What a great book whether or not you are an old toy buff. It happened to catch my eye at a Portland, OR bookstore and I thought it would make perfect gift for my son-in-law. I was right. He's been busy reading the background for dozens and dozens of toys that he grew up with.

Great coffee table book that tells of the inventions and inventors of all of the toys we loved as kids. Loaded with pictures of both the toys and the inventors, too. Lots of fun to see the guy who invented the Magic 8 Ball, or the lady that developed Monopoly. The book brings back lots of memories, both old and new.

Great book for the price! Has lots of good information and well documented photos. Had to buy for a History to Toy class, but also it's an enjoyable read all around!
