They are all athletes and rolling out their muscles has become an integral part of their training, and they wanted a roller to use at home and not just they one their schools provided. The roller is dense enough to support their weight for the variety of "exercises" they do with it. They roll out their muscles before training, and also use the roller for post-training recovery. Since they have been using a foam roller they have greatly improved their flexibility which helps in their respective sports. Using the roller is supposed to reduce injury, and that seems to be the case with my kids but I also can't say it's because they started using foam rollers. I can say my kids are susceptible to back pain, but since the one started rolling his back he has eliminated the back pain he was experiencing. We have tried the foam rollers with all the bumps on them and did not like them at all. This roller will do the trick just fine. So far we are very satisfied with this roller. I am surprised at how something so light can support our weight without any give. Very impressed! Review: Product as advertised - I purchased this product for my son who likes to 'crack' his back. Perfect For Trying Out At This Price!
Works perfect. Not entirely sure how durability. Realize that is the complaint made by some. Time will tell. LOVE the price though. And thought if I need a new one after a year, because I USE this one SOOO much, I'll buy a new one when the time comes IF I NEED it. But for this price. this one is WORTH a shot. Perfect for beginners. And if like me, you are not sure if you will stick with is...you know it's good for you, recommended, but just like many work out type things they get thrown to the way side. SO why not start cheap with a PERFECTLY good one, and work your way up if it becomes a favorite in like 3 years if this one goes! BUY it! Try it out! It's prefect to just try out. As recommended by my chiropractor. I'm having major lower back pain and going in 2 times a week currently. I'm hoping this will help stretch it out daily, if I do my exercises and begin loosening the muscles. I can tell it's working already. AS long as I actually do it. So it's reliant upon me. Not the item. Item is good quality. Not high end. But is guaranteed for a year. I got the 6" 18" one and thats good enough for me at $11. No complaints here! :)
