Sturdy, attractive and good features
I'm just replacing this bath caddy that I bought 10 years ago. It's very sturdy and the only reason I'm replacing it is one of the bars doesn't slide anymore because of rust. I like that you can slide a stemmed glass in the cup holder which is way more sturdy than just setting it on the caddy. The book or tablet holder holds your book or tablet at a helpful angle and you can use the grooves to change the angel. There's also another area on the left that you can put hair mask or whatever. There's a lot of room on the tray and the bars slide out to accommodate any size tub, even my deep soaking one which is fairly wide. This is a very well made product.

big fan 2 thumbs up
giving this 3 stars because I tried 2 different wine glasses and neither fit in the space provided and it was the main reason I ordered this particular bathtub caddy. I am keeping however because a champagne flute I had fit so I can take a glass of wine in the tub, even if the glass is not an ACTUAL wine glass. love the rubber over the metal and it fit perfectly on my claw foot tub, seems sturdy enough The pics of the glasses that wouldn't fit were pushed in as far as I could push them before I took the picture, the pic of the champagne flute shows how it was the only one to slide in all the way and the caddy was able to safely hold THAT glass! updated to 5 stars for the following: found a glass to fit in the wine holder just took a bit of shopping/searching not all glasses are equal love the fact that it is not made of metal(so no water spots or possibility of rusting) really loving the bamboo, and what metal parts there are have a vinyl coating to protect the tub warning: put the thing toward the end of the tub away from you if you sit up your knees might hit it and knock everything off. has nothing to do with the product itself just a personal note :) also love that i can (VERY GENTLY) rest my foot on it while i shave my legs. DO NOT put your full weight it will not hold and is not intended for this use, but i'm a grown up and it has made shaving a bit easier for me

Good Quality - Does the Job Well
This adds a nice touch to our soaking tub. I'm not sure how practical it is when you need to take if off the tub to climb in and then reach over and put this platform back on top of the tub. Frankly, I don't use it for the handling challenges. But for decoration and with a couple of trinkets on it, it adds to the ambiance of the soaking tub. I will acknowledge the quality and ease of assembly.

Well-designed.
This tray 'just works' like you expect for book reading, without the anxiety that a cheaper tray brings. It seems like the product's designers used it and made sure it works like you'd want it to. (Background: I had used a cheaper wire-framed tray that cost around $20. It was fine for holding a soap dish, but too unstable for books. A couple of times, I dunked my books after tapping that tray with my knee or elbow.) Pros: -Sturdy and heavy -- the protruding metal hooks are solid, with little 'play' between it and the caddy base (besides sliding in and out or up and down as needed). This alone is worth the $50 price. With cheaper trays, all the wiggling and bending of the protruding hooks make everything less secure, so that a slight knock from your knee sends your book into the water. -The rubber coating of the metal hooks forms a nice high-friction contact with the bathtub wall. This reduces slippage (another annoyance with the cheaper trays) and makes the caddy more sturdy and secure. -Only an inch in height. This allows you increase the water level without the bottom of the tray touching water, higher than you could get with a deeper tray. -The book holder works. It holds up magazines and hardcover books, and they don't want to fall down. -The wine glass holder actually works! Wasn't expecting much here, but it actually holds stemmed glasses securely. (Note: it won't hold stemmed glasses with bases wider than 3 and 3/4 inches.) -Attractive. This doesn't really come out in the pictures, but in person it looks nice. Cons: -Expensive, at least compared to the $10 or $20 wire caddies. -May require maintenance, given that it's made of wood. (Note: a year and a half after purchase, and with no maintenance on my part, it still looks new. No signs of aging, cracking, or splitting.) -If you have a very deep tub (e.g. a clawfoot with high walls), this caddy may rest too high on the walls for book reading.

Buy this! Quality product!
Very nicely made product, sturdy, and quality wood. No sharp/pointy edges. VERY easy to put together and not overly showy or complicated. It had all the features that I needed. Also, it would fit a far smaller or bigger tub than this, very adjustable. Far better than I expected! Primarily use mine for holding iPad/phone for Netflix/streaming or reading. Doesn’t hold a paperback book well, but probably would hold hardback better. Will hold a kindle!

Beautiful and functional
Just bought this item and tried it out the first night. Simple as pie to figure out, and although you can't see it in the picture, there is a clear rubberized coating on the metal arms to ensure that the caddy stays in place. It is a smidge more expensive than other caddies, but it is sturdily constructed and looks great. Quality and looks - can't beat that. The first thing I noticed is that the caddy is secure, it's beautiful in almost any decor, and works well. I even pushed down a little on it to see how strong it was and it didn't budge. I used it with my Kindle (put it in a ziploc bag first! Kindles don't like water!) and although the angle was a little steep, it was definitely workable. I didn't do a glass of wine, but a cup fits perfectly on the left side. Yeah, I know that's for the soap, but it was great for a glass of soda! I used the wine glass side to hold my chocolate! I didn't feel that it would tip over or that any of my precious items (Kindle, chocolate, drink - in that order) were in danger of falling into the drink. My only criticism - and this is SUCH a minor gripe - is that I wish the arms on either side would lock in place, because when you move the caddy out of the bathtub, the arms tend to slide out and it can be a little cumbersome to move it from place to place. Otherwise I am thrilled with this purchase. I looked at the rack-type caddies, and was really thinking about getting those. But for $10 more, I think I made the right decision!

Great for students who study in the tub
I have had this bathtub caddy for 6 months now and use it quite regularly. When I use it, it stays securely on the edges of my standard bathtub and keeps my books dry. I use it to hold textbooks, flashcards, pens, etc. so that I can study in the tub when I need to relax but really don't have the time. After 6 months of regular use the caddy still looks as good as new. I see no rusting of the metal bars or damage to the bamboo. It also holds my books securely and keeps all of my items dry (as long as I don't accidentally drop something of course). I particularly like the recessed area on the right side of the caddy. I use that area to secure my flashcards when I am not using them. You can't tell this from the picture but that pocket on the right is large enough to hold a stack of standard index cards. You slide them in horizontally from the front of the caddy and the U-Shaped wood over top of the pocket holds the cards in place.
