L’Oréal Paris Dark Spot Corrector Face Serum for Even Skin Tone by L’Oreal Paris, Youth Code Anti-Aging Serum, Non-greasy, 1.0 oz

I am a skeptic. That is what keeps me from dropping huge bucks on some very swanky skin creams I see. This is not a huge dollar item, but it has faded my sun spot on the side of my face in just 2 weeks of use. I am very happy with it and I hope it continues to fend off that dark spot. Of course, I did not take a before picture because I just KNEW it wouldn't work. Ugh! But, it appears to work. The spot is still there, but I see it less in all kinds of lighting. I will update after a couple months to let you know if it fades almost entirely or not. I bought this for my spot and mainly for my husband who has pretty bad melasma. He also has glaucoma and is concerned the ingredients in this will affect his eyes so he won't use it. I would rather him have sun damage than blindness, but I am hoping after we see a dermatologist this year he can feel better about using this (will take it to show the doctor) with his eye issues....maybe I need to send it with him to the glaucoma doctor. The cream is a good consistency and it says you use a pearl size which to me is just one pump. It gets just the right amount of coverage and not a ton extra. It does not leave my face massively oily (I have oily skin and I do not like greasy lotions). Update coming in a couple months....stay tuned.

I am extremely skeptical of the ridiculously over-hyped claims for most women's beauty products. And I believe in aging gracefully and not being too image and youth-obsessed as so much of our culture today seems to be. So I nearly didn't try this until I read some reviews and saw a couple of glowing testimonials on YouTube. I have to say I am so glad I tried it, because this stuff absolutely WORKS! I am very fair, with freckles, and I do a lot of gardening, so I had some sun damage and mottled brown patches on my skin. Also, because my complexion is pale, whenever I had a breakout, it left behind a red or a dark mark for a long time. I have been using this serum morning and evening under my moisturizer, on my face, neck and chest for about one month, and I am ASTONISHED at the remarkable difference it has made. My skin is VERY noticeably smoother, clearer, more even toned, glowing and healthy. It has completely faded brown spots and old acne spots, leaving me a creamier, smoother, more beautiful complexion than I have ever had in my life! I have received many compliments since using this. I hope it works as well for everyone else as it has for me!

Weird to have my review under our joint account name, oh well.... I have developed hyperpigmentation along my jaw line where my golf visor or baseball cap didn't shade. I have been trying several treatments and products over the last 3-4 years to try to decrease the dark areas without much success. I came across this product and decided to give it a try. It took several months to start seeing a change and I wondered at first if it was just wishfull thinking, but 3 months in I can truly say it has made a significant difference. Both areas are significantly less noticeable and some of the lighter areas are gone. I will be continuing to use this and we'll see where I am in another 3 months. UPDATE: I continue to be happily surprised by this product. My hyperpigmentation continues to fade and I'm starting to find that I have to look for it to notice the problem areas. It is not gone, but significantly improved. The big test will be next spring/summer when I'm back in the sun on a regular basis. I use sunblock and it will be interesting to see how well the combination of this product and the SPF 30 moisturizer work to keep the spots away. I'll let you know.

I have had extremely sensitive skin for ions and have now developed 'freckles'. Armed with a magnifying mirror and good lighting, I decided to try this. First and foremost, no breaking out. Second, I only use it once a day, maybe 3x a week (not the suggested twice daily, everyday). I started to see those cursed spots fading! If I had applied it as labeled, they might be a memory. Happy with using it intermittently. I find alternating treatments and taking one day off, reduce the threat of breakouts and help my potions work more efficiently. Try it. You just might like it. I do.

I am an African American woman with hyper-pigmentation marks over my face from acne. It worked at only a little first after using it for about 3 months, but it seemed as if it stopped working. I haven't seen any improvement past my 3 month mark. However, this did make my skin extremely smooth and I would always get compliments. For scars I recommend Tea tree oil and bentonite clay masks.

This is a great serum! It goes on amazing and smells awesome! It could work as a primer too because my foundation and/or concealer go on quite nicely over this serum. As far as its efficacy in correcting dark spots, I am not 100% certain yet as I have only used it for 3 weeks and want to give it the full 8 weeks before I decide. I will say that my dark spots appear to be fading, but that could be because I am using other spot correcting products (e.g. face wash, toner, moisturizer) in addition to the serum. It's worth a try if for no other reason than the smooth texture it gives your skin after application!

I use this after every time I wash my face. It is non greasy and moisturizes really well. As far as a "dark spot remover" - not so much, but I like the way it makes my face feel, so I continue to use it every single day. I will say that after using it for several weeks, that my skin is much more smooth and no more rough sun damaged areas on my cheeks. It is worth using. As long as it is being made, I will continue to buy it. TY.

Maybe it is just my skin, but this stuff really works and I cannot live without it anymore. I have severe sun spots on my forehead. To add to that sometime I get bad acne also on my forehead. I tried several other products like ROC multi-correction Garnier dark spot corrector. It made my sun spots slightly lighter but that was it. I thought this was more expensive and it would probably only work the same or worse than those other products. This July I went on vacation to Costa Rica and because of the sun my sun spots were terrible and to add to that big acne crisis (looking back at the pictures I feel embarrassed). So after coming home I was in the supermarket and thought to myself, why not? I bought it and can honestly say I saw immediate difference (which I thought it was just maybe the product reflecting the light) but no, my spots were WAY lighter. I have been using ever since and though my spots are not 100% gone (forget about that) they are barely visible. Also, my skin quality improved and my acne is totally gone (when I have a new spot I just apply this product and the spot dries out straight away). Again, maybe it just works on my skin type, but I sure don't want to be without it ever again. Cheers!

I was not sure weather this product would meet my expectations because I had tried numerous products before. I decided to buy this product after watching a video on you tube somebody recommended it to clear dark sport. I am really amazed of it's effectiveness, the dark spot on my face is almost gone and I am still on the first tube. I would recommend L'Oreal Paris Youth Dark Spot Serum Corrector to anyone with issues of dark spots. Thank you

I've been using this for a few weeks now. I can't really comment on how it works because I can't see a visible difference yet. The 5 star rating applies to the delivery.. I will update if/when there is improvement to skin. One other thing I can comment on is the bottle looks different to the one in the picture and the one I seen in video review :-/ not sure why this is

I have been using it for more than a month. I have dark skin spots on my face (due to age or sunbathing....), but this cream did very very little. In fact, there is no improvement at all. I had read good reviews on internet about this serum, so I guess it's a cream that works for some people and doesn't for others. It's not working for me. (I have an olive skin complexion). Anna

Does exactly what it says and I think you would see a remarkable difference in skin tone with continued use. Unfortunately I cannot find this product in my local stores so had a break in use while I was searching for it but had to order on line in the end

This is fantastic product, does it what is says. I will buy again. I didn contact to seller, needed some clarifucation about quantity. All was sorted out promptly. Waiting for this to come on sale ;)
