Why is this product being aloud to be sold for more than double the manufacturer’s sale price of 129.99?

I'm wondering the same thing. I will not be buying one at that price. I bought the 3000 GPH sand filter for $130 a few years ago and was curious what the replacement cost would be. I feel sorry for those that are getting reamed by these prices.

Would there be a problem using it on a 1900 gallon pool?

No. A little overkill but you wouldn't have to run it very long each day, It can be set to run from 1 hour to 12 hours a day or can be run constantly or manually on and off. And you would have the sand filtering which is very nice.

Will the 10in be ok for a 18x48 summer waves pool?

No I had a 10" for my pool that size that's why I upgraded to 16" and it is perfect!

I have a summer waves 17 foot pool will this sand filter hook up correctly are is there any adapters pieces needed?. The hose is 1 and a half inches.

If you pool has 1.5” hoses it should work without any problems.
