what type of battery does it take.. mine is on low?

I have had my pathfinder since 2008. Only time I ever had it go low was because the backlight got turned on to illuminate when you rolled the watch to read it. Plus it was set to stay on longer as well. So while tossing and turning in bed all night the watch was staying lit. So once I got that setting changed it never came off "high". So now at the 15 year mark, I am replacing it because the illumination no longer works past a tenth of a second. So I feel I got my money's worth.

My husband's wrist measures 8 inches. Will this watch fit? If not, can a separate band be bought?

My wrist measures 6 inches. I have a super skinny wrist and the watch fits fine for me. I’m not sure about the band though sorry. Hope this helped.
