ACCELDFI 74813 Weatherproof Electrical 3 Pin Connector

This is a great waterproof electric connector that was used for a motorcycle headlight unit to allow operation of a switch mechanism. The connector is larger than expected but was self explanatory to install, just keep the same style pins on one side in order to match the other. It has held up to water since this motorcycle is a off highway vehicle that encounter all types of weather.

First off, regarding the other review that gave it 1 star, that person did not install them correctly (I know because the first time I did the same thing, then realized i must have been doing it wrong).These plugs work perfectly, you just need to insert them correctly. Once you push the metal pin in place, you will hear the small metal fins click. Once they click then the pins line up with the receptacles/plugs. These plugs are excellent for an application where you need a water tight connection. I used these for wiring inside my engine bay, where water/dirt/moisture can get to and these plugs have been great.I'm ordering some more now for my second automotive wiring job :)

very handy waterproof connector, easy to install if you have a proper crimper for non-insulated crimps. I used this to connect the 3rd brake light, and utility light on the camper shell, as I didn't like the way the original installer had used two cheesy molex connectors, this is much neater. of course, I also had to replace said util light with dimmable RGB LED tape :)

These are great connectors which I used for a kit car build. There are appropriate tools for connecting the pins so that you can roll the metal over your wiring. With those in hand, a good, clean connection that fits the first time, second time, and every time after, is easy to build. It took me approximately 5 minutes to build each set and they will surely be weatherproof as stated. Quality of plastic is great as well. For the price, I think you'll be hard pressed to find a better option.

I purchased this connector to replace a bad connector that was on a light that hangs under the rear end of my truck. They old one had corroded and pretty much fell apart. This connector was easy to install and should keep the moisture out of the connector. I would but this again.

You get both sides, 3 pin and 3 terminals and 6 seals. No extra pins so don't mess up your crimps.

Didn't come with instructions. It took a few minutes to have an idea how to assemble with the wires. Then I couldn't get the two pieces together because the parts wouldn't mate inside together perfectly. You really can't get it back apart to make changes either once you push into the slots.

The pins are not very heavy duty...
