Great Product with my 20' Light Bar.
While wiring harness are glitchy and crafted effortlessly, Mictuning is offering the Mictuning LED Light Bar Wiring Harness 40Amp Relay ON-OFF Waterproof Switch that works just as you'd expect it to and then some. It gives a very nice response when you flip the switch and it doesn't delay like some harnesses that are being sold and the button even glows red when it's switched to on, it doesn't have the flickering or buzzing issue like other harnesses. Some things to note: 1.) The harness is easily concealable, so its very manageable with where you want to place it. 2.) The button can be placed just about anywhere due to it being a low profile circular button. (I have a 04 Dodge Ram 1500 and it fit perfectly under the light switch for my headlights.) 3.) It comes with installed fuse, so there shouldn't be any mishaps with the harness glitching out and causes either a flickering of the light bar or blowing of any bulbs in the light. 4.) Other harnesses that I've used stopped working after I tried them with too many items (8 to be exact), but this one worked with over 12 devices that I connected it to, so that I could make sure it would stand up to what I was going to use it for and it works perfectly. Overall, this worked great on my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab with numerous upgrades and mods. No issues whatsoever. It's a very solid harness so far, the price is excellent for this new quality harness, and I can't find any reasons not to give it 5 out of 5! So.... 5 stars out of 5!

Wire kits
This wiring kit was by far one of the best priced for item when ireceived it, it was/is made very well and I was impressed at how the wire felt good, strong and thick yet flexible and was two color that makes wiring easy, the only thing I hate is that I wish it was longer, which is not a problem for some but, I did end up buying a small roll of wire and wire nuts to rewire it to make it longer and that will also make tucking and hiding the extra wire easier so it's not hanging in my way inside of my truck because, it was too short and would definitely be in my way. I would/will buy again for the price and what you receive if you want a fancier on and off switch you can switch out this one or buy one that's already different keep that in mind on the type of switch you want for turning it off and on otherwise this kit has everything you should need unless you have a long truck or car I'm very very pleased with this product

Great product. Do your homework before you go to install because documentation is lacking.
Even though I had some issues, I'm still giving this product five stars. I used this harness to put two small 4" LED lights on my Suzuki KingQuad. I wasn't looking to run anything "large", and actually didn't want a huge amount of wire length. I did want the waterproof switch. My biggest complaint is the lack of documentation. Had to use Amazon's Q&A section for this product to get my questions answered: 1. The switch only lights when it's toggled on. 2. You need to drill a 3/4" hole for the switch and you will get a nice snug fit. 3. Ground the relay switch. Grounding the relay switch was my biggest challenge. I was ultimately able to use an existing bolt for the battery bracket because I didn't want to drill any holes in the frame. A longer mounting "arm" or extension would have been helpful here. I wound up just making my own extension using some leftover pieces of aluminum I had from an outdoor electrical box. If you zoom in near the battery's positive terminal you can see it to the left. I'm not a big fan of the pinch on connectors. I chose to strip, twist, solder, and heat seal the connections. This might seem like a lot more work. But, from my experience flickering LEDs are most commonly due to faulty connections than bad components. Wound up with a nice, neat, and well functioning connection. I did have to run about 2 +/- feet of "extra" wire up and around. One negative review mentions that theirs only came with one 5A fuse. Mine came with the four different size fuses as described.

4-Years Later! Fizzzz!
This is a nice harness; but for me, it died 4-years after purchase. I use it for fog lights on my van and it was connected directly to the battery. One day I noticed the fog lights came on by themselves and wouldn't turn off. In troubleshooting, I heard a fizzle and the lights went off, then came back on. The inline fuse did not blow? The fizzle was coming from the relay which had gone bad. I purchased another harness instead of splicing in a new relay and hope it will last longer. It may have just been a bad one, but for the price, it is hard to know or worry about it. Other than that, this is a beefy harness with a lot of protection from the elements. I gave it 4-stars only because it died on me, otherwise, I think this is a good product. I will do a follow-up review should I have issues with the new one.

Excellent Harness for the Money
Installed a light bar on from bumper of 74 Jeep CJ 5. This wiring harness worked out perfectly. Had plenty of length for everything. A CJ 5 is a very small vehicle. In larger vehicles the length of wires from the battery to the relay may not be long enough to allow mounting the relay in a desired position. The wire run to the lighted switch should be adequate in most any vehicle. Seems to be decent quality components and wires are covered in a protective plastic cover in most of their length. Much neater and easier than pulling several lengths of wires to to complete the job. Will always buy this harness in the future. BTW there are two sets of wires going to the light bar which would allow installation of two separate lights if desired.

Needs More Quality Control
Ordered two of these wiring harnesses to install 2 LED light bars on my Yamaha Grizzly. After some careful modifications, I think they will work well for their intended purpose. However, the manufacturer needs to have more quality control for the consistency of the end product. The two harness are drastically different in how they are wired. Someone with less wiring experience, and perhaps less mechanical experience, might be throw off by the differences causing a potential for wiring the harnesses incorrectly. Here are the differences between the two harnesses: 1. The first harness has white & black wires leading from the relay to the lighting. The second harness is red/black. 2. The switches are not the same. Since they will be side by side on the machine, this is a problem for me. 3. The first harness arrived wired so that the only wire connecting the switch leg to the relay leg is the white wire that activates the relay. This is the way they both should have been wired. The second harness came wired so that all three wires from the switch leg are connected to the relay leg. For the grounding system - that's fine. But joining the red wires means that both the switch and the relay end up being powered directly from the battery. The way the first harness was wired, the switch power can come from a switched source - which is preferable to prevent the light bar from being left on while the machine is turned off/not running. It's easy enough to fix if the installer knows what they are doing...and since I had to shorten everything anyway it didn't bother me. But it would be nice if two of the same product were exactly the same in every way. EDIT: After reading a lot of comments about this harness melting/burning up, I stumbled upon a potential cause. The two harnesses I received varied greatly in terms of what fuse was installed in the fuse holder. Neither of them were sized correctly for the gauge of wire contained in the harness. One had a 25A fuse, the other had a 15A. With the length of this harness being north of 15 feet counting power and ground wires, the 15A fuse would require 14AWG wire and the 25A fuse would require 12AWG wire as a minimum. If I recall correctly, the main power wire from the battery to the relay is a 16AWG wire - which is good for 12A at 15 feet. If the output from the relay to the lamps is only 16AWG, then 12A is all this harness will carry safely. If it is 18AWG (which I think is correct - will verify later and amend if necessary), then the entire harness is only good for roughly a 10A load. This is a little more than a QC issue. With the 25A fuse in the one harness, that load would melt a 18AWG wire at anything beyond 5-7 foot in length. That's a design flaw... Since I know what I am doing...I think it will still work for my application as all of my circuits are less than 7 foot in length, and my largest load is about 6A. But if you are thinking about daisy-chaining a row of lights, or running a big LED bar off this, I think I would look at a different harness, or build one myself.

Great harness and for a great price!
I recently purchased a set of 4in Mictuing cube lights and decided to pick up this Mictuning wiring harness. So glad that I did. This harness made wiring the cube lights a breeze. I did not need the switch or fuse, as I have a pod to wire them directly. So I only needed part of the harness. The length of the harness was perfect for my application. The build quality was excellent and it was easy to assemble. For the price I would pick this harness up in a heartbeat for ease of installation. The rest of the harness seemed like it would work as described. Good job Mictuning!!!

Good cable for short distance applications
Amazing cable and packing. But the cable was a bit short for roof bar installation on a maruti Suzuki swift. Seller was amazing and friendly.

The rocker switch is nice and small plus it's illuminated when the light is ...
I bought this kit to install a spare LED light that I had laying around. I used it to install on my ATV so that I could run the switch to front and have the light face the rear of the bike. There is plenty of cable length for an ATV application. The rocker switch is nice and small plus it's illuminated when the light is physically on. This is a great feature for me seeing as my LED light is on the back of the ATV. The cables are all wrapped nicely so that makes it easy to run behind the nooks and crannies of the ATV. Solid buy! Pros: Long length Lighted rocker switch in-line fuse Cons: none
