The filter material appears to be of high quality, and I have not identified any defects with the product. Furthermore, the pricing was very favorable for my project requirements.

This review is for the filter you put INSIDE the AC, NOT the stuff you use for sealing. I don't know why they're categorized asThe same thing. Anyway. It got my standard wall unit AC, which was missing a filter, working as normal. Can be cut to size shape easily and is not brittle. It's just a sheet of filter foam, no frills or unnecessary complications. Has multiple uses too.

Used this inside a 12000 BTU Media U Air conditioner. It works so perfectly that the OEM screen filter doesn't even get dirty. ITs been weeks and the condenser is spotless, zero dust or debris

We got a free large air-conditioner and worked great minus it had no filter it was able to be cut to size. Could probably cover 1-2 more air conditioners. Depending on size

I assumed this would be more like a charcoal filter. It was no thicker than what was already installed. I was hoping for extra filtration, but it did not meet my expectations at all. I couldn’t tell a difference from when I used it vs when I didn’t use it.I wouldn’t recommend, at least if you’re looking for decent filtration to aid in better air quality.

THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE BEST FILTERS ON THE MARKET. i purchased this for my 20,000 BTU Friedrich air conditioner in my living room. I keep it on for hours at a time. This filter is extremely dense so the smallest dust particles will get caught in it. The instructions say to wash it every 30 days. I do it every 3 weeks just to get the maximum power possible. Very simple to cut to size. This filter is very pliable and strong. I have to push the top 2 corners of the filter under 2 very tight prongs to hold it in place. The filter didn't tear at all which I've had with other cheaper filters. I stuck the bottom in and it's folded over about 1/2 inch. It fits and stays right in place due to it's pliability and thickness.. Easy to wash and no problem wringing it out, bounces right back into shape. I hang it up on 2 plastic clips to dry and there is no harm or even indentation to the foam.I don't think you can do any better than this filter.. I'm super satisfied with it.

Excellent quality filter foam. This is harder to find than I realized. I have severe lung problems and last summer in my air conditioner I used the Filtrete filter which seems to be made of old style furnace filter material and is so thin it can be seen through so I doubt its dust capturing abilities. This Duck Brand foam filter is dense and without blocking the airflow cannot be seen through. It also washes very well and holds it shape so is a real money saver in that it is reusable. Not just for air conditioners, excellent for any type of machinery that uses air filters of this thickness.

I bought this because searching for PC-specific filter material only resulted in expensive, small quantities of mesh and fan filter material. I then found this A/C filter for only $3! It's very easy to cut into your desired shape, it's a huge amount (more than 2 square feet), and with a bit of mounting tape, I was able to cover all the holes and intake vents that dust could get into my PC. It's fairly open cell mesh, so it will not restrict airflow much, but the thickness and arrangement of the mesh foam makes it so almost all dust will be trapped. I can update in a month to compare the dust build-up to the previous months where I had no filters on my PC.
