Keeps Your Tree From Catching Fire
I applied this generously to my tree and let it dry overnight. Then I decorated. When it went on, it has a smell a bit like soap, but it did not change the appearance of the tree. After it dried, there was no odor or smell. Even two weeks later, I cut off several small branches and tried to light them in my BBQ and they would not burn.

No odor / slight chalky look
Bought this product since our building requires any live trees to be flame-retardant. It was easy to spray on, had a slight odor initially but once the liquid dried (within 1 hour) the scent was gone. We sprayed the tree outdoors and then brought it in once dry, so that may have helped avoid any of the odor lingering in the house. The spray did dry with a very slightly chalky appearance (see photos), and it would flake off of the tree anytime something brushed up against it. We bought a Noble Fir, which has a silver/chalky appearance anyways so you couldn't tell that there was anything on it unless you were up very close looking for it. Overall, I would buy this again next year - mainly because it is required by my building, but it also gave some peace of mind.

Perfect
One bottle was more than enough on a 9-ft tree.

Accelerated needle loss and dried the tree out!
Extremely disappointed with this product. Sprayed my fresh Fraser Fir tree according to product instructions. Kept the tree hydrated throughout the holiday season. Tree began to drop needles within 3 days of application. There was a flaky, salt-like residue on the needles. By day 5, I could not touch the tree branches without causing massive needle loss at points of contact. After Christmas, the whole tree was as dry as kindling, despite the full water well in the stand. Taking off the lights and ornaments practically denuded the entire tree. I do not recommend this product. One star given because no stars is not an option.

Fire guard
A bit messy to use once dried. We got far more than we needed and just tossed it at that point.

Not a good product. It's messy. It didn't kill the tree, but I'd never buy this product again.

DON'T Purchase
We put this on our fresh cut tree, within one week, our tree turned almost totally brown and all the needles fell off. It also made the entire house smell like a cigarette, it was the most awful thing I've ever seen. We had to take our tree down and buy another one. I can see why its' no burn as you won't have a tree to catch on fire after spraying this stuff on it!
