Firehouse Pete was our first Pete the Cat book. My toddler loves Pete’s story so much we bought several other Pete books! These books are engaging with great use of sight words for learning to read.

Pete and his class go on a field trip to a firehouse. They learn all about the fire trucks and the gear firefighters must wear. While visiting, the fire alarm goes off. Pete goes with the truck to the location of the fire and learns how the firefighters deal with a real fire. **** FOUR STARS! In this small book, children will learn the basics about a firehouse, the firefighters within, and what they do to help people at a fire. All the characters in the story are cats – except for one that is a frog. James Dean is not only the author of the “Pete the Cat” series, but also the illustrator and his pictures do the story justice. Es muy bonito, tiene buen tamaño. A mi hija le encantan las historias de Pete the Cat y esta es una de las mejores. Incluye pegatinas que tambien son un éxito con los peques. Lo recomiendo!
