Worth the money
Best heating pad I have ever had. It gets so insanely hot and old heating pads I would max out, this one I rarely go above the lowest heat setting. It also is really large and is great for my hip pain!

Very hot, old school type heating pad
Great heating pad; I can’t say anything negative about. The chord is long, the pad heats up very quickly, the removeable sleeve makes it easy to wash, the cover is soft enough to sleep on. The timer can be adjusted for necessary use up to one hour, along with heat control, and an automatic shut off for safety. Would definitely buy this again. It gets VERY hot, very quickly.

Really Hot Heating Pad
If you want a really hot heating pad, this one is it. As I think others mentioned the temp regulation between 130, 150 and 165 degrees isn't great, but its good enough. At 165 you won't want it on your bare skin. Will see if it holds up.

Par excellence
Heavy duty heating action. I have had several of these over the years and give them as gifts. Most people use the puny drugstore heating pads that are nearly useless.

Nice until it quit working. :(
This was awesome while it worked. Hopefully I am the only one who got a defective heating pad. I got this a few months ago to help with a sore back. And it worked great. I loved the 4 heat options - 113°, 130°, 150°, 167°. I mainly liked using 130. And some how it did feel like moist heat, even though it said it was I was still happily surprised. I work from home and recently my lower back started bothering me so I've been using the heating pad by placing it on my office chair, it is also getting cold out so it has also been great at keeping me warm. I've been using it several times a day for a week now and then 2 days ago it started to shut off after about 5 minutes of use. The controller shows it is still on but it is not heating up. So I shut it off for a few minutes and turned it back on, again it worked for around 5 minutes and stopped. I unplugged and set it to the side and tried again the next day but it happened again. If mine wasn't defective I would give this 5 stars, it is a nice size, has a decent length cord, 4 heat settings and 4 lengths of times, 15, 30, 45 & 60 minutes. And the moist heat was very nice. The cover is removable if you need to wash it.

Auto shut off is very annoying.
I use this product for endometriosis menstrual cramps. The product works as intended, and gets hot enough to relieve my pain very quickly; however, the auto shut off is really a problem. I understand it’s a required safety feature to prevent burns and possible wire shorts and/or fires, but in order for me to sleep through the night or even just relax while awake I need constant heat on my lower abdomen. I bought it because it was the best reviewed and seemingly most reliable one I could find. So far it works exactly as it’s supposed to and rather well. It just isn’t a perfect fit for my personal needs.

No Control(s) Over This Heating Pad - Only 3 Presets
I've been using heating pads for several decades for rheumatologic/joint pain, muscle pain and other medical issues. I personally do NOT like this heating pad because the customer has ZERO control in setting your temperature and the amount of time you'd like to use it. This heating pad has 3 "Preset Temps" and 3 "Present times". You cannot change anything or customize the pad to your needs. There are times you need a different amount of heat, sometimes less, sometimes more time. But with this heating pad you are out of luck. As soon as mine hits the Preset temp, it immediately cools off as if it is totally turned off. The heat cuts out despite being set for 30 minutes or even longer. I have returned to my favorite Moist Heating Pad that I've purchased for decades. With that one I can set temp exactly how warm/hot I need it to be and also if I want 5 minutes or anywhere between 5 to 59 minutes. It provides tremendous flexibility for the user. This heating pad I am reviewing decides exactly how many minutes you can use it and ONLY one of 3 temperatures you can use. I prefer a heating pad that I am able to adjust temp & time settings myself according to my own needs. Medical needs change and some days you may not need any heating pad and other days you may need more heat for a longer period of time. This is not possible with this particular heating pad. Just my 2 cents worth!

Really helps!
My husband has a fractured hip and is waiting on surgery. This was recommended by a nurse for pain relief. It works so much better than a regular heating pad because it delivers moist heat. Start out on 115° because it gets extremely hot at first.
