As other reviewers have mentioned, I was sent a bulb with a green base and white top. I was kinda ticked and ready to come here with a 1-star review. But then I installed it and .... it glows GREEN anyway. I bought these because the yellow "anti-bug" lights seem to attract our Louisiana bugs like sailors to the Sirens. I noticed that the green pro-military light we had out had virtually no bugs around it, so bought these to avoid the bug swarm around the door. So far, so good!

These were used with a day/night socket. The front and back of house glow blue at night.

It very easily lights up a room with a blue light. I've also noticed that some red and orange pigments will light up with these lights, so there is some UV going on here. Be careful with them if you are UV sensitive, or have things that are affected by UV.

Got these for my tall 3-bulb Japanese shade-type lamp to add atmosphere. The plan was purple in the top and bottom sockets with pink in the middle. However, the purple ones are not really purple when lit. They are barely lavender and look almost white behind the shade. Returned them and got blue for top and bottom. The blue/pink combo is stunning. Just right for early morning coffee and evening relaxing.

Eagles fan here so needed green lightbulbs for when the Birds play. Got these for the outdoor porch light and motion sensor light in January and they are still going strong in July. New football season approaching so we'll see how long they last. Perfect shade of Eagle green....Go Birds!

Not actually a purple light but a white light with a purple filter. Not as saturated as I would like but it's ok.

These Led bulbs glow dark blue. been looking for colored led bulbs but hard to find at box stores. I would give a 5 star but will wait to see how long they last outside our home lighting
