Classic black Mary Janes are an excellent solution for my old, sometimes badly swollen feet. I am so grateful! The shoes are made of a stretchy soft but firm fabric that comfortably accommodates and hides my "crossed-over" toes on my left foot, and my bunions on both feet. The strap across the top of the shoe is one long strip of velcro that can be adjusted to fit my foot no matter how swollen it gets. (I have lymphedema.) They are top-quality shoes and very well made. My old-lady feet look smart, neat and if I wear them with enough attitude, almost fashionable. Right now I have one pair in black and a second pair in very dark brown. My next pair will be navy. I wish that Drew made this style with the stretchy fabric toe box in something for dressier occasions.
