I have the Morley bass wah and saw the T.M. Stevens fonk wah on YouTube video and was excited to see how it sounded, it's perfect for funk. Thanks for helping me get it.

Wonky
I wanked the Wonk and it's weak. It's like adding a rubberband to my sound. An envelope filter does better. They tried to make the signal path let some bass through while applying the effect- a good idea, but sadly they failed.I compared it to my modern morley wah/volume pedal and it kicked tm stevens clear out of town.I've packaged it back up to keep the diseased graphics from spreading a hideous hype virus, and called hazmat for disposal instructions.

I love this pedal
I love this pedal! It's great for coloring arpeggios or just adding some flavor. Also, I like to use it in the chain after a fuzz or envelope filter, or all three together. Since this pedal does preserve the low end and only colors the top frequencies, I suggest using two cabinets, one for deep bass and another for tight punchier response. This will make your dancers sweaty for sure, as long as you use it tastefully.

Solid bit of kit with some funky sounds
Very good piece of kit! Solid and sturdy, feels like it can take a few knocks and the action on the pedal feels like it will last. The sound is alot of fun to play with, it changes with the pressure u use and can make lots of awesome tones. There is a difference between the Fonk and the normal tone that will allow you to experiment even more. I would recommend to buy it but be warned u won't sound like TM Stevens within seconds! it will take a while to perfect using it but will be well worth it in the end!
