This multi-voltage Power Supply was exactly what I hoped it would be when ordered. The dial clicks into one of the 7 voltage ranges and all (as I hoped) are just a bit higher voltage than the nominal Dial Label Number which is exactly what I wanted for experimenting because batteries are usually also higher than nominal value listed ... I use a bench supply in my home workshop and wanted this as an additional portable Power Supply that I could use in different remote locations when testing electronics projects away from my Workshop table. The multiple Voltages cover all the ranges I need and also the 3A covers the current needed for my circuits. Voltages on the unit I received of which I am very happy with and find to be perfect for my needs are as follows: AC INPUT 122.6V and DC OUTPUT: 3.535V, 4.746V, 5.386V, 6.394V, 7.797V, 9.413V, 12.543V ... It was a good purchase.

Exactly what I needed

I use this power supply to run two 80mm PC fans. The voltage adjustment allows me to control the fan speed. Even at a full 12 volts the power supply does not get warm or hum. The barrel connection on the power supply is a common size and and fits my application (a CRJ Electronics DC Power Supply Plug to 2 x 3/4-Pin PC Fan Power Adapter Y Cable) without the additional barrel plugs. I connected the power supply to a power strip with a switch so I can easily switch the fans on and off. I'm very happy with this purchase.

It appears to work as listed. Settings for voltages match. Haven't tested amperage rating but I understand amperage should be kept at around 75% of maximum. Voltages measured run a bit high but less than +10% of the listed voltages (+5% to +9%) but without a load. As a load increases I understand I should normally expect a little voltage sag so this is not critical. Overall appears to be good good quality with no excess packaging.

This well thought-out changeable transformer really helped me out of a jam. A transformer was lost in a location move, and an expensive tool would need replacement...without this variable power supply. This variable transformer and the many plug-in adaptors included can really "save the day" in many situations. I'm very glad this was available, it may have to "step-in" for some other transformer some day. 5-Stars!!!

Let me start of by saying how awesome this plug is. Genuinely a fantastic little product that's versatile enough to power IoT projects or just that one thing you lost the cable for. My use case is in the latter, but I admittedly tried the former first. The plug and adapters are good quality and changing the voltage is easy with the provided key (you can use a screwdriver or Swiss Army knife to adjust it if you lose it). I do have concerns about the adapters falling off with repeated use, so if this is going to be your all-in-one adapter, I'd throw electrical tape around the adapter once it's on the plug just to keep it secure. I considered removing a star for going over on the max amperage at every voltage level, but it's not a deal breaker for me (it ran at about 3.56a consistently - tested under no load with an extech ex430a). A bit concerning if you're going to use it for an embedded device, but not the end of the world if you're not.

I bought this to work with my portable blood pressure measuring device. Though I select the right output voltage it still didn't work!
