Loses a star due to not being washable. Was rare over the summer that I was too hot underneath it - even my partner, who usually overheats, has found that he can sleep under this without getting sweaty. It's a shame it's not washable. Now it's starting to get colder, I'm still using it (it's near the end of October) but now in connection with an electric underblanket as I'm prone to cold feet. The combination of the two is great, and my partner is definitely happier for a thinner covering on the bed! I'd imagine getting the 8-ish tog one if it gets really cold perhaps, but to be honest I can't imagine that this duvet with just a regular blanket popped over the top wouldn't still be enough. It's really quite adaptable.

We’ve been using this for a couple of months now. I was worried it wouldn’t be warm enough over winter but it’s great. I don’t overheat as much as I used to, but find you soon warm up getting into a cold bed. Keeps us at a regular temperature. We replaced a duck down duvet for this, which was very bulky and generally just too warm, but I like the way a down duvet settles around you so there’s no cold gaps. Didn’t think this one work have the same effect being so thin and light but it settles nicely over you. Really pleased with it, wish I’d bought one years ago!

We are warm sleepers and after reading about the temperature control benefits of wool decided to go for this light duvet. It arrived quickly & is good quality. Although heavier than our previous polyester duvet it is not too warm. We are using this now as we have always found higher tog duvets far too hot for us even in the winter. It may be too warm for us in the summer so will have to resort to a sheet! We are sleeping more comfortably since purchasing this duvet.

this item replaces a wool one of several years which the missus decided needed replacing , it arrived promptly and is light and warm and we sleep with the window locked open , and she was right we needed a new one .real wool duvets converts there just better .

Really pleased with this as a summer duvet and so nice to be using natural products, we no longer get hot and sweaty at night. Making sleeping so much better. I just wish they did the other weight duvets by the same company on Amazon. The stitching is really well done and keeps the filling spread out well throughout the duvet it doesn't bunch up at all and it is really easy to put into a king size cover.

If you have night sweats then do try a wool duvet above you with a wool topper below. I have had a dry bed 3 mornings in a row! I usually have to change my sheet every morning but that has stopped (I hope). I froze every night as I could not bare to have a duvet on me. Now I snuggle under my wool duvet (4.5 tog) just like everyone else.

This was a gift for my grandson and his wife. The feedback has been extremely positive and are very pleased with the gift.

Bought after reading various reviews with a view to reducing heat vs synthetic duvets especially in summer and it's worked for me. It's very good quality. I haven't tried to unpick any stitching to prove the wool content. Equivalent to a 3 to 6 tog but I haven't found it too warm and now the weather has cooled i have added a synthetic duvet on top which may not be the best idea but suits me.
