Such good value, super bright!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. It's getting darker earlier now and I needed some good torches for watching my dog in the garden and going for walks. These are super good value for money and work brilliantly.Pros:- These are like tactical torches in that they have a distinct line around the circle, and they emit a good amount of light over a large area- The battery life is excellent - it was a couple of weeks of intermittent use until we had to charge one, and it didn't take long for it to be fully charged again- The fact you've got two means you can swap them out when one runs out of battery- Button being on the side is a much better design than being on the end - easier to squeeze and use this way in a natural hand position- Three settings - bright, dimmer and flashing- Comes with 2 micro USB wires for charging them up- Small enough to pop into pocket or can clip it onto clothing or pockets with the attached metal clipCons:- Doesn't give off a super bright centred light with blurred edges, like some torches. This isn't what I needed but worth bearing in mindI'd really recommend these. They are such good value, I had no idea you could get such high quality torches for a low price, I would have bought some ages ago! They're great for any dog walker and anybody who needs a small torch to light up their nights.(It's also worth mentioning when they arrive they have a little bit of cardboard inside to stop the battery from being used. Just unscrew the bottom, take it out, but it back together and voila!)

Unbelievably good value
I have got a lot of torches, you could say I collect them, and what I will say is the budget torches are getting better and better. To get two of these including 18650 batteries for what I paid is remarkably good value. They're more than bright enough for dog walking, camping or most other night time activities. The illuminated button is a great finishing touch, enabling you to find the switch in the dark to quickly switch between high output and lower output mode (or the SOS functions that nobody ever uses, if you so wish!). The adjustable zoom is so easy to use as well! Just push/pull the head of the torch! With the USB recharging, there is no need to own a separate 18650 battery charger (I already have one, as I vape and have other 18650's, but many people including my mum don't... I will be gifting her one of these). The USB recharging is a key feature often not even found on really expensive torches. It allows you to get the benefits of 18650 batteries in your torch (longer runtimes due to higher capacity), without the cost of buying expensive chargers. The only thing I'd say is that 18650 batteries can be quite volatile when things go wrong (e.g. they get physically punctured, or there is a charging fault, etc) so I would recommend you do not leave this torch on charge unattended.Overall... I thoroughly recommend.

Remove Battery Isolator Sticker from negative end!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Received and unpacked the torches. No instructions enclosed. Turned on torch nothing happened.Removed the battery from one of the torches expecting to see a plastic strip between either the +ive or -ive end of the battery and torch contact points preventing battery discharge/torch switching on during delivery to customer. No insulating strip evident.Replaced battery and put torch on charge. The on/off button lit up green.Having read somewhere that these type of torch batteries take forever to charge I allowed the charging process to continue for 7 hours before disconnecting. On pressing the on/off button nothing happened. Started charge process again. After a further period I turned on the torch (whilst still being charged) and the torch worked. Stopped the charge process and turned the torch on - nothing!Dismantled the torch again and this time inspected the battery carefully and noticed a thin silver/grey circular disk stuck to the battery negative end.Removed disc from the battery, reassembled and tested the torch - perfect! Placed torch on charge - the on/off button glowed red and changed to green when fully charged.Have read stories of purchasers returning this type of torch due to not working - perhaps they also missed the insulator disc?

Good value rechargable torches
Great price for a pair of rechargable torches. Beam is adjustable. There are 2 brightness levels as well as a strobe effect. Click the power button once for high, again for low, again for strobe and once more for off. Also if you press and hold the power button, it will flash SOS in Morse code. Click again to turn off. Battery life seemed good on my recent camping trip. Build quality is sturdy. My only criticism is the rubber cover for the micro USB socket easily comes open. It is a minor gripe as it is attached to the torch so doesn't get lost but could allow moisture into the torch in damp conditions. All in all, a great buy.

Aomees 2X LED USB Rechargeable Torches 18650 battery 800 lumens
*** As Amazon has a habit of mixing ra ndom reviews of similar product, this is a review for Aomees 2X LED USB Rechargeable Torches 18650 battery 800 lumen.Bought a pair of these super bright black torches for £10.44. The torch comes with a 18650 lithium battery which looks like an extra large AA battery. The USB charging is nice but the rubber clip that protects hole breaks off easily.Press once to switch on, press again to dim, once more to flashing and 4th time off. Long press for SOS light. Slife head up/down to zoom in/out.A very nice pair of torches and they are so good that we ordered another three pairs of these. So EIGHT in total. Two pairs has black USB cables and two pairs have white cables. The black cables are longer and seems to be more recent stock as they came later.I am replacing a number of older LEB torches that uses 3xAAA batteries which has habit of switching off/on due to contacts. I do not recommend buying any torch that uses 3xAAA batteries as I have two makes (8 torches) a nd they all have this problem.
