Raspberry Pi Cookbook: Software and Hardware Problems and Solutions

This book is very helpful to an individual who is a raspberry Pi owner. It has loads of projects, advice and tips that will make your raspberry pi knowledge grow and prevent you from making the errors that can slow down your projects. The book contains new material on the Pi 4 which is the model that has up to 4 Gb. Of onboard memory. The book also covers the earlier models of raspberry pi and describes which of the models can effectively serve as processors for different tasks.

I have been playing around with Raspberry Pi's for several years and have collected a few books on the subject. I recently came across this book by Simon Monk. Between the technical information, Python tutorial, and detailed coverage of I/O and software for the Pi, this book is the most comprehensive source of information I have found. This book will give you the foundation to start just about any project you might want with a Pi.

There are a LOT of Ras-Pi books on the market. Some offer projects, others offer education and still more try to Introduce you to the Raspberry Pi. The 3rd edition of the PB Cook Book manages to do all three. It combines project ideas, introductory information (such as Ras-Pi selection, O/S selection, Programming basics and a TON of great projects and tips. This 584 page tome belongs on every workbench that uses the Ras-Pi, or wants to in the future.

I like the book. But Amazon made me order it saying my rental was due. I dislike Amazon for doing this.

For STEM university professors committed to move beyond the tired lecture PowerPoint teaching model, all to prevailing in much of our teaching, the book is a great experiential source with hands on learning making use of Python, Raspberry Pi SBC. Text is well written and very well passed for learning. This is a great investment.

Great choice of projects. Very useful information for each project. eg 3 methods of remotely controlling Raspberry Pi. 3 ways to control voltage based position servo. circuits for power control. projects w many useful peripherals .

I was new to Raspberry Pi and this book gave me step by step simple recipes for doing everything I wanted to know. I use it as a reference constantly. Includes a Python programming section. Good hardware interfacing and system management. Recommended.

I was hoping this book would help me set up my raspberry pi for programming from start to finish, and it did! So even if you have zero experience with the raspberry pi, this book will get you up and going. It is written very clearly.

Das Buch wurde als in einem sehr guten Zustand beschrieben. Allerdings fehlten die ersten 30 Seiten, was es für mich unbrauchbar machte.

I wish I had found this book when I first started with Raspberry Pi and python.

I needed a good reference book for Raspberry Pi... and this is it. Maybe not for the beginner, but loads of useful information. Caution though.... things change quickly in the Pi world, so always check the web for updated info if something from the book isn't dead right! BTW The Pi 4 had just been released when this book was published so some things tested on Pi 3 and older may not work on a 4 (Booting from HDD is a good example....quite different for a 4)

L'auteur est connu, bon technicien, relativement pédagogue (ce qui n'est pas si évident), assez didactique. Un seul point frustrant : j'avais eu l'occasion de lire l'édition précédente (en format papier) et je m'attendais à retrouver le chapitre "Arduino - Raspberry Pi" enrichi. Sur ce (seul) point, j'ai été déçu car ont disparu du chapitre une dizaine de pages : - Custom Communication with an Arduino over TTL Serial - Custom Communication with an Arduino over I2C qui étaient extrêmement intéressants dans le cadre d'un usage mixte : Raspberry pour les programmes lourds, Arduino pour actionneurs et capteurs. Livre à recommander fortement, mais - si vous êtes intéressés par la cohabitation - procurez-vous les informations de ces 10 pages manquantes. (Et prêtez attention aux différences de tension entre les deux composants !)

全部を読み込んでいるわけではありませんが、ちょこちょこ調べるつもりで読むと、わかりやすい英語です。日本語訳のいい本が出てくれれば、それはもちろんそっちがおすすめですが、高校生レベルの英語が理解できるならば、買うのを躊躇する必要はないと思います。
