Good info for guiding a student through the ranks.

It's an okay book with basics, not really what I was expecting. I was hoping for more content. The book does have Japanese terminology beside the English translation in the first part of the book, but could have been more useful if it was done throughout the book rather than having to go back to the beginning to look up the English translation. Decent, but could have been better.

Waste of money. The glossary is all over the place (is it not formatted for a mini iPad)?? The kata has NO images. The concept of the book is that it supplements what one has learnt in class in preparation for a grading - and of course because the glossary is just words jumbled up because if the formatting issue, it is of absolutely no use in deciphering the pages of kata explained in text. Wish I could get my money back

Good basic guide to one of the most popular styles of Karate. I would recommend it to anyone needing the guide to what's required to get to blackbelt.Thanks for the book
