SLAP YA MAMACajun Gumbo Mix 5 oz

My family loves cajun cooking and I am not great at it. This Gumbo makes me look like a pro. So tasty and so easy to make. Win win.

My husband made gumbo ( one pot seafood & one pot chicken for Super Bowl & came in handy. The favor was good & easy to use. The 5 pack was just right for both big pots. Will buy this again. The value was good as well.

This was so easy to make gumbo with instead of spending about 45 minutes making the start. I did add stuff to it such as celery, onions, chicken, shrimp, but my husband also likes it just as it is with only chicken added.

The media could not be loaded. i used this to make smoked chicken and andouille gumbo. Taste is great. The heat trends a bit on the higher side so be prepared. I think the only thing I may have done was use chicken stock instead of water or maybe ½ and ½ of each one, but Slap Ya Mama's products are the real deal folks.River parish cajun here with ties to Vacharie. When you’re short on time this works. I add more veggies but in general works for a quick meal when you don’t have the time. On salty side for me so taste before adding.

Flavor was great and just right amount of spicy. Easy to make also. But more than I usually paid for a package of seasoning.

I've eaten Cajun food in Louisiana on multiple occasions. I've made quite a few gumbos. As the sayings go, you haven't cook enough roux if you never burned one. This is the burned one. Shortcut not worth it

Hoo wee this stuff is HOT! Best gumbo I've ever made! I prepared it according to package, but I wish I had added okra or celery. Definitely serve with rice and bread and a lot of water!

The only way ima get authentic gumbo out here in Canada
