Marinco 30A 125V Marine Shore Power Cordset, Yellow, 50 Ft, 199119

Excellent Power Chord I use for my 41' Boat. High quality, excellent length and fantastic value for my money!! I am very happy with its durability!

We bought a Marinco 199119 Cordset, 30A 125v, 50 foot cord. This cord is fantastic. This cord stayed weather proof in the Wisconsin wet weather this fall. We highly recommended this cord. I used this cord to run from our light tower to a building cabana with power. I love the yellow, so that it helps the cord be visible at night next to the soccer field.

Works as described

I needed a 35 foot cord. All the local boating supply stores (and many online) only had 25 or 50 foot cords and they were all $300. I saved $200 and got the exact length I needed. The couplings were all marina quality and met all standards. The quality overall is exceptional. Thank you so much.

Works as advertised and good quality

This is pretty nice, but screw on retained ring is flimsy and doesn’t fit well. I can imagine it cracking with too much umph. None of the twist-on plugs were very tight, but it may be more my equipment. Actual wire feels heavy duty though. I would shop around if I had to do again. .

If you're a boat owner who has shore power at your dock or slip, you need a good electric cord. This cord is a good one. It's the second one we've had (I screwed up the first one (my fault) and ordered this replacement. It's 10 gauge wire to carry the load. Don't settle for smaller gauge or you'll be sorry. Also use the locking ring on the female end if at all possible. That will keep the cord for jiggling around ad making a bad connection. I put a new end on the damaged cord, but it's not marine grade, so I'm reluctant to use it even for a backup. I've heard too many horror stories about damaged/burned boats from the use of improper cords. This is a solid cord. I recommend it highly.

This is just what we needed. Most boats come with a 50' power cord. When you are moving around - it's a hassle to always have to unplug the longer cord and pack it with you. We keep the shorter plug on our home dock and always have the longer power cord packed away. It works the same and is more convenient to have it on your home dock, where you know how much length you need and it takes up less room. No tripping hazard.
