Half Blood Prince is the most emotional driven and underrated Harry Potter movie. The characterization is great and cinematography is rich.The Blu Ray quality is pretty good but the sound for dialogues is low. The special features with Max. Movie Mode is interesting too.  I bought at a sale for ₹399. For all we know this movie doesn’t require any introductions or whatsoever. Harry Potter has been and always will be one of the most beloved franchise of the century. Half-Blood Prince is the sixth installment of the franchise after Order of the Phoenix. Avoiding all spoilers!! I will not go into the details of the movie. Now coming onto the Bluray Disc I received, The cover is not what it has been shown in the image so I appeal to the sellers to please not post misleading images and cover arts of the bluray discs. The disc I received was in pristine condition though, the package was well packed and for the price so low I could not ask any better than I got. So I urge to all Harry Potter fans if you haven’t and have a bluray player in your homes please buy this and I guarantee you will, not be disappointed.

Great movie of Harry Potter Franchise. I loved it's story very much.

One of the darkest Harry Potter films in the saga.People who don't seem to enjoy the movie as much as the book are missing the point.This story is driven by characters and emotions rather than action. And it is exactly how it was supposed to be..5 stars.Thank youLeo

The magical world finally stands united now that the Dark Lord has made his presence known. Now no one is safe except for those to choose his side. Be it a wizard or muggle Voldemort has his sights set one finally completing his mission, but he must eliminate the chosen one. Harry Potter, is about to enter his sixth year at Hogwarts. This time, besides being closely watched over by the watchful and caring Albus Dumbledore Harry must face a new challenge, being a normal teenaged boy with his thoughts fixated on girls. Friendships and dating is swimming all throughout the corridors at Hogwarts and it's much more complicated than any Quidditch match. Still, Harry must stay focused because he can sense that there is a plot afoot to penetrate the walls of Hogwarts and turn the haven of wizarding youth into a spawning ground for Death Eaters. The questions that need to be answered are who is plotting it, whom are they after and who is working with them on the inside. There are many secrets revealed about Voldemorts past in this chapter, but most importantly this is the point in time when Harry Potter finally makes the choice on what he must do to finally take down his nemesis.There were many mixed reviews about this film, but as a fan who read this book when it was first released this was my favorite installment (Meaning it surpases 'Chamber of Secrets'). What grabbed me the most was this book made things a little lighter after two extremely dark novels. It was a much more human story showing that while there is a classic story of good versus evil in an imaginative world these young witches and wizards are still just ordinary teenagers with ordinary problems. Bringing David Yates back to direct this film was the best choice because in 'Order Of The Phoenix' he brought realism to the characters and deep development within themselves and with one another. Tackling love and heartbreak is a very hard thing to do in a Sci-Fi fantasy film, but Yates nailed it. The story was also very funny as the book was. The characters show fears in the areas on popularity or just manning up to tell a girl how he felt. Tom Felton who has played Draco was finally given a chance to show his acting potential. While there was minimal dialogue until the very end his body language showed true emotional that really worked the crowd. The fact that a boy who has always boasted about being a proud dark wizard can shed tears when he faces his true self was made so believable by Felton. I sure hope that once these films have concluded he is given a chance for more work and many stellar performances.If you agree with this review then like me this will be a Harry Potter film you will enjoy. We now look forward to the final chapter going Hoarcrux on us to bring us the entire final book page by page. It looks as though they want to do the finale correctly so expect nothing less than a PG-13 rating.

Die Vielzahl hier nachlesbarer negativer Kritiken hätte mich (50) als langjährigen, vielfachen Leser der Bücher (im Original und dt. Übersetzung) fast schon davon abgehalten, mir diesen Film überhaupt zuzulegen, was schade gewesen wäre (wie schon bei dem sehr erfreulichen Star Trek XI). Nach mehrmaligem Sehen fällt mein Urteil doch recht positiv aus, wobei wie schon bei den vorherigen Filmen festzustellen ist, dass die englische Originalfassung der deutschen Synchronisierung vorzuziehen ist.Mit einem Gespür für das Atmosphärische wird die Grundhandlung und -stimmung des Buches jedenfalls in dichte, detailreiche Bilder umgesetzt, aufbauend auf einer konsequenten Farbdramaturgie, die den Film komplett in Graustufen und Erdtöne taucht und hierdurch im Ergebnis zwar ein düsteren, aber doch einen stimmigen Eindruck schafft.Zwar wird für die Filmfassung eine Menge weggelassen und umstrukturiert; im Ergebnis kommt jedoch eine Vielzahl starker Szenen dabei heraus, manchmal geradezu intime, intensive Momente im Zusammenspiel der Figuren (z.B. Dumbledores entsetztes Verstehen, als Harry den Ring der Gaunts berührt oder Harrys Mitleid mit Slug, als er ihm die Erinnerung abringt).Manche lustige Einfälle lockern das Ganze gekonnt auf, so dass auch der Humor nicht zu kurz kommt, und auch die wohl etwas überbetonten Liebeleien fügen sich im Grunde doch recht unterhaltsam ein (geniale Idee z.B., wenn sich McLaggen beim Eisessen mit Blick auf Hermine lasziv den kleinen Finger ablutscht.)Wenn die Rechnung letztlich doch nicht komplett aufgeht, so ist dies den vergeudeten Möglichkeiten bei den dramatischen Höhepunkten zuzuschreiben. Während der Duellierclub im zweiten Film im Vergleich noch optisch effektgeladen und packend geriet, stellte sich bereits die Kampfszene in der Mysteriumsabteilung im OdP gegenüber den vielleicht etwas unübersichtlichen Darstellungen im fünften Buch als ein teilweise müdes Geplänkel dar. Hier im sechsten Film wird nun ein ganz anderer Weg eingeschlagen: Wohl um in die Mitte des überlangen Werks einen dramatischen Höhepunkt zu setzen, duelliert man sich überraschenderweise im Kornfeld - und das Ergebnis ist ein trostlos schlecht inszeniertes Zaubererduell, fast ein Zaudererduell. Was durch diese im Buch nicht vorhandene Szene bewirkt werden sollte, kann nur vermutet werden: Den Kinobesucher nach Ablauf der Hälfte des Films wieder aufwecken (?). Fast konsequent mutet es vor diesem Hintergrund jedenfalls an, die Kampfszenen nach Eindringen der Todesser zum Schluss des Films ganz wegzulassen und so ganz nebenbei hierdurch in die Dramaturgie des Films ein klaffendes Loch zu schlagen: Erst sieht man stundenlang, wie Draco das Eindringen dieser Herrschaften mühselig vorbereitet, und dann schleichen sich die Todesser ins Schloss, tun so gut wie nichts und schleichen dann wie gelangweilte Spaziergänger wieder davon. Der unkundige Kinobesucher muss sich wirklich fragen, was sie dort überhaupt wollten... Fast wünschte man sich das von Sloterdijk so verachtete "Kino der Explosionen" herbei - wo ist die monumentale, tricktechnische Effekthascherei, wenn man sie mal bräuchte...So zeigt sich dann im Ergebnis leider auch, was diesen Film schwierig machen kann: Die Ereignisse und Handlungsabläufe erklären sich für manchen Zuschauer auch bei angestrengter Aufmerksamkeit womöglich nicht mehr zwingend aus sich selbst heraus, sondern nur noch für den Leser, der nicht nur sofort versteht, was gerade geschieht, sondern auch, warum es geschieht. Aber vielleicht ist auch dies gerade beabsichtigt: Derjenige, der den Büchern bisher erfolgreich aus dem Weg gegangen ist, soll hierdurch vielleicht endlich dazu gebracht werden, die Bücher zu kaufen, um jene Hintergründe und Motive nachzulesen und zu verstehen, die er im Kino schlechthin kaum nachvollziehen konnte/sollte (?).Aber dennoch: Der Film setzt die Reihe mit Niveau fort. Es ist allen Beteiligten zu bescheinigen, dass hier mit einiger Gewissenhaftigkeit, Bildkraft und auch mit beachtlichen schauspielerischen Mitteln versucht wurde, die Grundstruktur des Buches in einen Film umzusetzen.

Endlich mal ein Potter, den man schauen kann.Bei den Harry Potter Romanen handelt es sich um simpelste Kinder undJugendliteratur. Das ganze natürlich mit einer prägnanten englischen Note. Und genau diese habe ich in den ersten fünf Filmen vergeblich gesucht.Sicherlich hatten sie alle ihre Momente, aber genauer betrachtet waren es nur versuche Hollywood Action Abenteuer auf die Leinwand zu zaubern. Wer braucht den Einheitsbrei überhaupt noch? Viel Gezauber um nichts. Schade.Vielleicht lag es ja daran, dass bei jedem dieser Streifen ein anderer Regisseur zum Einsatz kam. Am meisten jedoch störte mich, dass Harry Potter -selbst als Teenager- immer noch so ängstlich und ohne jedes Rückgrat dargestellt wurde, als sei er gerade erst eingeschult worden. Wie WeicheiFrodo, der ohne Sam nicht mal den Dorfausgang gefunden hätte.Das war diesmal nun alles anders. So, als hätte es die Teile eins bis fünf gar nicht gegeben. Es gab Dialoge... echte Dialoge! Und es war mir klar, dass viele damit überfordert sein würden. Egal.Die Kameraführung war traumhaft. Da fehlten mir echt die Worte. Die musikalische Untermalung war immer genau auf dem Punkt. Und das Beste zum ersten mal war Potter wirklich richtig gut. Zum ersten mal kann man von einer wirklich guten schauspielerischen Leistung reden. Der Film hat der Harry-Potter-Story Anspruch verliehen.Für mich ist es auf jeden Fall der erste Harry Potter Film den ich von Anfang bis Ende richtig gut fand. Er war noch nie so erwachsen.Ein guter Harry Potter Film... klingt komisch. Daran muss man sich erstmal gewöhnen.Bleibt zu hoffen, dass die Verantwortlichen aus dem letzten Teil nicht wieder so ein verkorkstes Zauber-Spektakel fabrizieren. Das hätte die Harry-Potter-Story nicht verdient.Lang lebe Harry Potter.

Buena apreciación del 4k logre notar muchos más detalles que pasaba desapercibidos en BR, el HDR 7/10... Y obligada tenerla para tu colección de Harry Potter...
