Unfortunately I did return it as the lugs were more like 1/2” and I could only go 3/8 on my cables but this switch is very heavy duty…I really wanted to use it but there was no way to fit itIf you need a solid powerhouse, this is it

Installed as a battery cutoff for a rear mounted winch, and the switch is solid. No issues with using very inflexible 3/0 wire. 1/2” lugs fit perfectly.

I like these battery disconnect switches and they work great and easily. The only drawback is the need to drill a hole to mount the main shaft through, which is just over a 1/2" in diameter. When drilling through the steel panels of construction equipment, this can be a real chore. Assembly and wiring is straight forward. There is a definite 'positive' click when you flip the switch, giving a solid confidence the switch is where you want it, either in the 'On' or 'OFF' position.

This is exactly what I needed to stop a slow drain on a Sunday school bus!! Fast and easy installation!! Quality plus!!! Would definitely purchase again if needed for another bus.

Very well made . Heavy construction allows high amperage applications. I like that it has a locator pin to keep the switch from spinning when using. All I had to do was drill a small hole next to the mounting hole to install .Priced right. I used this as a battery shut off in my travel trailer , when not using. Good purchase.
