Best thing for U6 and U8 soccer since the invention of kids!
I bought 2 of these as practice goals. I coach 2 youth soccer teams: A U6 team for my 4-year-old grand daughter and a U8 team for my 7-year-old grandson. We practice 2 times a week (times 2 teams) so needless to say, the goals take serious punishment. No, I don't mean from the awesome, but less than stinging kicks of [12] 4-year-olds. I mean 24 kids ranging in age from 4 through 7 using the goals as a leaning post, chin-up bar, monkey bar, bug deflector and or Fort, in between every awesome kick.No kidding, these are Very Well built heavy guage steal tube goals that are absolutely the easiest portable nets to set up and even quicker to take down. They adjust in 2-seconds from a good practice size for my U8s to perfect for my U6s. Note, I said practice size. At full height and width extension, they are not regulation size for either team. But, they are EXTREMELY versatile, portable, and convenient. They fold quickly into a small easy to handle bundle making carrying them both easy but maybe a little heavy for a smaller child. I let a pair of my U8s carry one from car to field (AFTER I take it out of the car. Oddly I like my car paint the way it came from the factory).I previously had a pair of Franklin "portable goals" that I paid about the same price for. They were much lighter and had to be staked down to keep them from tipping every time the kids kicked a goal. But the bigger pain was that each goal (which had a static size) was made up of 10 interconnecting tubes and the net, all of which had to be assembled and disassembled before and after each practice, taking up to 15 minutes per goal. I eventually got tired of that and just left them together and put them on a small utility trailer. That was an even bigger pain. When I found these, PROBLEM SOLVED. I donated the old ones to Parks and Rec and kept these for ME! Highly recommended!

Very good goal at reasonable price
I've been mulling over buying one of these for the kids for some time. Didn't want to spend too much money but get something that's sturdy enough to take a hit to the cross bar or have players slam into it while also being a decent size. This goal fits the bill. It's been outdoors now for a few months in wind and weather. It's taken a lot of abuse. No complaints. The construction is solid, assembly reasonably easy to figure out. Wouldn't say it's primarily built to be portable in the way that the small pop-up goals are, but it does fold up to a manageable bundle for storage.I definitely recommend it for anybody who is looking for a decent size, sturdy out-door goal that's reasonably portable (i.e. to be put in the garden and moved around/stored ever so often).

This is a good goal and very sturdy once set-up
I volunteered to coach my son's U8 soccer team. Practicing without a net was difficult so I decided to purchase one. This is a good goal and very sturdy once set-up. The only reason I did not give it five stars was for two reasons - its is quite heavy so I use a wagon to bring it to and from the practice field as I have so many other items - and secondly the set-up can be frustrating as sometimes the buttons stick or are hard to get to pop thru. All in all for the price, it can't be beat for its sturdiness.I do want to say I wish the vendor would include stakes as the net could easily fall over if someone pulls on it.

Exactly what I was looking for
My 6 year old son has gotten back into soccer so it was time to get a new soccer goal. I spent a lot of time looking for the best option and didn't want something made of plastic or pvc. We had a Franklin Blackhawk goal but it was too flimsy and small and better suited for 3-4 year olds. Set-up with the Lifetime goal was straight forward though did take some time and sore fingers trying to extend and line-up the push pins. I appreciate that the net came already on the frame. The net is a good quality and the frame is sturdy enough to take shots and the ball actually bounces back. I've been putting the goal in the shed after each use to hopefully prolong its life. Would be easy to fold-up if needed. It's got some weight to it but I'm having my son assist so it's pretty easy. Highly recommend.

Great Nets, Fold For Winter Storage
We like these nets a lot, find them good looking in the yard (unlike white plastic nets), a good size for the kids (7 and 10 years old), and well built. I like that I can knock fold them up, as I did recently when a hurricane threatened, and that they can be folded and put in the winter months. They are portable, but because of the sturdy build, probably not something you would transport everywhere, being a little heavy to carry around casually. Nevertheless, they can be taken along, for special outings and will fit in the trunk of the car or suv. Folding them up and down, and changing their size is quite simple. Very smart design, IMO. Shortly after we got ours, the kids managed to damage one of the nets, and lifetime replaced it, no questions asked. I would definitely recommend these nets, and this company.

Sturdy, well made and easy to assemble
We got these for around over a year and have been abused still kicking. We got two and play pick up games at the park(2x per week an idea of the amount of abuse on these ) . Very durable but still some button pins broke wich was fine it was bound to happen for the amout of hard shots thrown at them. Still found a way to keep them going. To bad price for these went up too much.

Sturdy, reliable, great fun.
Putting together was a piece of cake. I like the "expandable" feature - allows me to vary the size of the goal between my 5 year old and 9 year old goalie. Very sturdy - I keep it fully unfolded in the garage. Kicking the ball into the net has made a world of difference for my two youngsters who can't wait until the next spring to get this goal out and play again. One downside I guess would be its weight. If you have it fully unfolded carrying it might be a little cumbersome. I actually carry it by myself, but if you have a more common "soccer mum" situation, you may need two people to move it around.

These are the soccer nets to buy
We have looked for awhile at Soccer nets for our 10 and 11 year old for the yard. We even tried buying some of the pop-up portable nets but ended up taking them back because they felt so cheap. After a ton of research, we decided to spend a bit more money and get something build to last. These nets are amazing! My impressions:- These are very well built, sturdy, bordering on heavy. They come with spikes to secure them to the ground... we haven't found them to be necessary. My kids can't budget these nets even with the full force of a kick.- They are adjustable! 7 feet wide, 5 feet high? No problem. There are 3 width settings and 3 height settings. We just leave them at the maximum.- They fold up relatively easily! Within minutes, I can have these folded up and I don't even have to take the net off. This is exactly what I want for winter storage.- They are "powder coated" and supposedly rust proof. I'm keen on this as our intention is to just leave them up in the yard during the spring/summer/fall which means they will be out there in the rain. Only stored during the winter.- Amazon Prime 2 day shipping for free. Fantastic value given the weight of these. They were sitting on my porch waiting for me after work.We believe these are going to turn our yard into a destination for our kids' friends. This is about as close to official soccer nets you are going to get for your yard. My kids are super impressed!Highly recommended.
