Best on the market!
I have been using Enermax fans for the last several years. My current rig has been running 3 Enermax fans (2-120mm and 1-80mm) 24 hours a day 7 days a week for almost 5 years. My new rig (P8P67 deluxe/I5-2500K with 16gb ram) has 5 new Enermax fans (1-120mm TB VEGAS TRIO and 4 of these UCAP8-G).With with all fans running, at full speed, there is no noticeable noise at all with the case sitting on the bench 1 foot away from my ears! They are amazing little fans and really nice to look at.The finish and the 15 LED's give these fans a look that no other company can offer at this time. These fans operate with a thermal sensor (thermistor) and the speed is controlled by the heat in your case. If you want disable this function, and make them full speed all the time, simply clip the thermistor off, take a match or lighter heat the wire and strip the insulation easily with your fingernail or edge of a tool. Then twist the wires together or solder, and insulate with shrink tube or tape. I did not solder my 4 new ones, but I striped the wire about 1/2 in. then twisted and shrink tubed. They work fine.I have never had an Enermax fan fail. On average they are more quiet and move more air than any other fan, and are great to see in a windowed case. These fans have an average lifetime of 100,000 hours that's over 11 years. They fascinate my great grandchildren!willway
