My first impression right off the cuff was the quality of the build. Not only for the sheath, but the blade and handle as well. I put this to daily use since I got it in March and still to this day it sees use. Even under abuse this knife has still impressed me. The factory edge is machined, its does not come honed out of the box, but, it is indeed sharp enough to slice and chop. I was able to hone the edge with an hour on my stones and ceramic block. Now it'll shave. The handle is well made and pinned properly. Superbly done on their end. The leather sheath is by far the best I've had with a cross draw, even though the line they used to see it all together has been cut at the back end and up front where it inserts. I expected that because of how many times I pull it out and put it back. The leather has also been sliced into front the constant use. Again, I expected these to happen. The pocket also holds a zippo tightly, which is a plus for me. I dont like using small honing stones anyway so this was a pleasant discovery. The knife does fit loosely in the sheath and will slide forward exposing just enough of the blade to knick your finger, so be aware of that. I've not had one moment where the button snaps have failed, they're reliable in situations where you experience snagging either in the woods or doing work. My personal experience with this set up is 100% positive. This knife is worth the money in my opinion. It even throws well if you know how to properly throw a knife. The balance is superb. I highly recommend this knife. Plus..theres no saw toothed spine..solid and smooth, yall..get it.

I was mixed on what to expect when I ordered and boy was I extremely happy upon unboxing! This knife is very nice. It feels great and fits my hand well. I love the sheath. I would have paid the money for it alone! It is comfortable and easy for me to use. This is now a staple to my camping adventures!!!

First off, the shipping method gets a F. The package was crushed because it was in a envelope not a box. However, the product wasn't damaged. My first impressions with the knife where, I feel like the sheath itself is worth $60 bucks. I love the blade style and the quality of the knife including the handle fit and finish is excellent. The tool is very comfortable and comes sharp out of the box. Unfortunately, after preforming a few quick small tasks that I feel are ecental the blade quickly dulled and formed a small roll. The good news is after touching it up with a diamond rod it was sharp again very quickly. Overall I'm very happy with this product for the price.

Its a great knife

I haven’t used this knife yet, but I can tell it is engineered amazingly. I was not only impressed by the knife, but by the craftsmanship of the sheath; I couldn’t find a flaw in it. The knife was oiled and wrapped in a protective plastic wrap with a tip protector. Amazing care went to produce and deliver this bush knife.

Excellent knife... Sturdy, quality sheath (all leather w/pocket for stone), all wood handle, perfect tracking knife. The blade itself holds an excellent edge (very sharp).

I love the knife, But when I received it, the blade at the very tip had what looked like rust on it! The tip had punched through the rubber shipping protection and had rust spots on each side the size of a pencil eraser. Luckily I have a very nice set of wet stones and after the third time around with the finest stone and buffing for an hour or so I returned the blade to its mirror finish. So, if I had the chance to re-order another hunting knife from else where, I would not, I would still stick with you guys! I do love this blade and although it took some time and work to get it back to brand new, I would do it again. Thank You "D"

The blade of the knife was poorly sharpened and chipped, seems made way too quickly or something similar. Should be able to sharpen it, but sending a chipped blade is rediculous...

Super Lame résistante en acier D2 polyvalent mais reste moin pratique pour un travail qui nécessite un peu de précision , Son poin fort ces son étui qui ce porte à la ceinture dans mon cas je le porte au dos ! Le cuir es robuste , à de la gueule .. son point faible je dirais même pire… Je sais pas qui a pensé à ça !!! « m’être une couture exactement en bas , à l’intérieur de l’étui ou la lame , entre « J’suis pas ingénieur mais du fil à coudre là ou une lame super coupante glisse fréquemment ! La lame avais déjà coupé la corde dès la première semaine , donc la couture étais déjà endommagée.. ça reste un petit détail qui ce règle asser facilement, si j’aurais regarder avant je l’aurais vu et j’aurais pu l’éviter… la raison de mon commentaire.. pour son allure , la robustesse de ça Lame 8/10 mais pour Ca polyvalence qui font selon moi une lame séparer en deux et qui ne va pas très bien pour l’utiliser , ni dans les gros travaux ni de trop petit , il a beau avoir fier allure , avoir d’la gueule ne veux pas nécessairement dire être efficaces 100% … Bon je l’aime vraiment malgré tout ces un de mes préférés , au camping je ne part jamais sans lui , il es un grand atout en forêt je l’ai presque toujours à ma ceinture , je suis pas expert pour affûter , je sais pas pourquoi j’ai autant de problèmes avec la partie de la lame plus près du manche lame ,pour avoir un bon tranchant je trouve ça plus difficile mais pas impossible le reste de la lame es super facile à affûter et pour une lame supposément résistante et au tranchant résistant ces 9/10 ! Je ne regrette vraiment pas mon achat

This is a beautiful knife great blade awesome craftsmanship gorgeous wooden handle with a case that is awesome & will make carrying this knife a joy & last for ever, it’s made of top quality leather fits on belt at back of waist a lot better than having it run down your leg & make you stand out from the crowd when you go to town! This is not some mass produced junk made of cheap metal! It’s a knife you can work with and carry comfortably

I have to say, this shealth is absolutely phenomenal, very well made. Thick, nice leather, solid stitching, adjustable straps with snap buttons, real solid riveting, stone holder and flint holder. It straps on to my belt perfectly and, to me, I hardly notice it's even there, very comfortable and easy to take and put in the blade. Now the knife.. It came all oiled up and sharpened, placed in 2 separate bags and then the tip of the blade was capped outside of the bags with a hard plastic tip. I'm going to be honest.. this blade kicks ass. It's meaty, feels really good in the hand, handle fits me perfect but I have larger hands. It 100% is a full tang with 5 pins, the last one being hollow so you could cord it if you wanted to. The handle is bone smooth and REAL WOOD I can not stress that enough.. the amount of times I have bought a blade under the notion that it was a real wooden/bone handle and then it turn out not to be is seriously frustrating. There is a knot as well as defined grain in my handle so you know it isn't pressed wood. The blade is sharp, wider than most because this is a survival knife, it chops great and the weight of it definitely makes it impact well with very little shock to the wrist. I chopped with it, cut with it, it honestly performs great. My only upset, I had some delam right out of the package which resulted in a chip. In all seriousness though, the chip is in a very noncritical part of the blade so I plan on just grinding it out because it looks like that's as far as the layering went. Hopeful that there isn't an interior crack and I doubt there is. That is the only reason it got 4 stars from me. 5 means perfect and a delam chip is not perfect, therefor a 4 in total. Don't let that scare you off of a purchase, these things happen when making blades. I can surely say that I'd recommend this knife

Very sturdy bush tool. No gripes about it but I must say if your going to skin with it put some ranger bands around the handle or use the 2 knuckle method. Fit and finish is excellent and if the handles ever broke off you'd still have a very usable blade. For price point definitely 5 stars
