Good watch

Admittedly, I did not purposely tune in to watch this when it was screened on terrestrial TV (especially as it was on in the early hours of the morning and I was at work) but before the film was shown the director was explaining why she¡¦d made the film the way she had. They showed a clip of the father and son playing music together, and it sounded so amazing, I was hooked. I was a bit nervous about whether or not the film itself would be as good as that clip, especially as I¡¦m not normally a fan of Bollywood cinema, but it was. It was colourful, it was musical and it dealt with real and up-to-date issues. Yet somehow, the music didn¡¦t detract or undermine the story, it just simply helped to lighten the mood at times and explain the characters even more.I would recommend this film to anyone as it really is something you don¡¦t see everyday. But if you really find that Bollywood films are not your cup of tea, watch it just for the scene when the father and son play the violin and saxophone together.You might just find yourself changing your mind ƒº
