It perfectly gives a good light for me. It’s a great shade. The packaging could survive a tornado. I can only speak for my own experience, but my lampshade order arrived with hardware included, including a finial top (see photo).As other buyers have mentioned, there is a pattern that appears through the lampshade when lit (see photo). I like the pattern a lot, but some people might not. Despite the pattern, the lampshade does its job very effectively.
