Good for hyd and solid slipper cams
This. Great product for engines with hydraulic or solid slipper lifters. Not needed for Roller cams. It was a good value price and delivered quickly. The delivery person did not follow directions and left it at the front door where there is lots of foot traffic. This usually only happens on Sunday delivery. I buy alot on Amazon and 90% deliver perfectly.

You need zinc since its been taken out of most oils
Pretty basic product, but due to Federal regulations, the zinc compound that used to protect your motor from wear has been removed. This is especially tragic for flat tappet (lifter) applications where controlled wear is essential to cam break in. This like other products puts the zinc back in, especially for break in. I would only use this full bottle in a new or rebuild situation. If you have a flat tappet motor, I would only use 1/4 to 1/3 of the bottle per oil change after the first break in oil change, assuming a 4-5 quart total capacity. Also, the label states not to use in cars newer than 1994 due to potential damage to the catalytic converter(s). But there are no applications I can think of after 1994 with flat tappets, but dont quote me on that.

Quality break in additive.
This is a must have when breaking in new engines. This is the only additive I could find in Northern ontario where high zinc base oils are near impossible to get.
