Used whilst wild camping. The beef stew tasted more like ham but was pleasant. The cake was a little dry but still enjoyable. The beans and sausage were just like from a tin. I was most pleasantly surprised by the energy bars. They seemed very hard and rectangular before opening, but werent too hard to eat at all and very tasty. Little sweets good for boost while walking. Dates were for 2023 (3 year shelf life!)

Overall, I'd say this was a good selection but I found one meal a bit bland; it had nice chunks of tender meat .. just that the sauce was too bland for me. The other was beans n sausages, well we all know how they taste, no surprise there

Enjoyed the beef stew very much. Have been thinking about buying another ever since. Good contents in the ration for the money. Good value all round.

Well packed, arrived on schedule. All the food needed for a days hike.

For the price these rations are'nt bad if your going hiking or camping for a day . The beans and sausages were great if you are a fan of hienz beans and sausages in a tin which i am... really warming and filling, a great breakfast. The main course of creamy beef stew with peppercorns was quite bland and loaded with salt... i guess its okay if you are trying to replenish your bodies salt reserves but the dish lacked both a defined flavor profile and was light on actual beef or potatoes opting to fill you up on the creamy sauce. not great.. snack bars were good as well as the boiled sweets. Will try another and see if the main course is better. I also marked this ration down on ease of use as it has no heating method so make sure to take some kind of burner as the meals are boil in the bag or FRH.

Ok all was good but didn't like the creamy stew, but that was just me I didn't like the taste. But the rest was very good

The main is halal although no customer warning is provided except on the pouch itself. Tastes bland and it’s full of sugar. No heating pack. Terrible value for money. If they feed this to the military it could possibly be a war crime.
