I've been taking antidepressants for more than 50 years. Every three or four years, I have to change the prescription because the effectiveness seems to diminish over time. I like the dark glass bottle and believe that it helps keep the supplement in proper condition. I have used MethylPro-5 MTHF L-Methylfolate in the past and stopped using it for a couple of years. I had forgotten how much better I felt while taking the supplement every day. I used to take a higher dose and decided to work up to the higher dose this time. Due to a health condition, I am not able to absorb Vitamin B-12 in my body and one result of that is depression. My dr recommended this supplement and specified this brand. He said it works in the brain and helps with my depression. I can attest that it does work. It is not a miracle drug but I am grateful for its help in reducing my depression.
