99% its accurate
I believe that these strips are accurate. I dipped one of them into Listerine mouth wash and the acidity came up accurate, however, the results for my sourdough starter have been underwhelming. It could very well be user error, but it seems that the PH of my starter has yet to change over 4 days. The tell tale bubbles of starter have appeared, yet no change in PH. Lastly, I'm still confused as to which of the 4 PH squares are the ones that I should be recording, though this is likely due to the fact that I have not read the instructions. Overall a very good product. ๐

Accurate readings
Reasonably priced and works well. I use them to monitor the pH of my home brewed kombucha. Ideal pH is 3.5 to 4.5. If the solution gets much out of this range, the living organisms die and the brew goes bad. The solution tests at 3.5, and I am happily brewing with no problems. I have also tested brewed tea (basis for kombucha), tap water and filtered water. They work fine for what I need.

Accurate and easy to use!
I got these for my son's science project, he says that they are easy to read (don't recommend them to people who are color blind as you need to match up the strip with the colors to get your level) and easy to use. You have to line up the color of the strip to the color on the bottle/paper which will tell you the number. Overall 9/10 for ease of use and accuracy!

Not Accurate, Poor Design of Scale
These ph test strips just havenโt worked for me. I kept thinking I wasnโt getting actual alkaline water. Then when I bought water that was being tested for ph as I was purchasing, and it said that it was neutral, I realized something must be off with the strips. Tried it on some cherry coke and it should up just under neutral. On top of just not being accurate, these are very hard to read. The squares will each show up at a different point on the color scale. The color scale itself is hard to read as the differences in color are so minute.

Use the pH chart on the box
I will admit that I didnt pay attention to the fact that this was a 4 panel litmus strip. Fortunately it did work for testing the PH of my soap, but it is a bit more difficult than typical litmus paper. Overall I do like these, but beware that the colors on the pH chart on the bottle are different from the one on the box and the box is more accurate to what shows up on the strip.

Everyone should buy these!!
These have been AMAZING!! What an eye opener! My husband gets gout flare ups if A. Eating the wrong food. But most important if water is acidic. We have been buying thos water from a water store for about 2 months now. One of the waters says its Alkaline and the other is regular water. We noticed he was getting gout flare ups and we couldn't figure out WHY?? We ordered the PH strips to test the water we were buying! Completely accurate!! (He used to be a watertech for aerospace). Thank goodness for these testing strips!! The water that was "alkaline" was at a 7. Which is "normal" drinking water. The regular drinking water tested as a "4"!!!!! Meaning very acidic!! Sorry for the story but, I wanted to explain the importance that everyone should buy these!!! These testing strips have helped SOOO much! Now we know why he was having gout attacks! The water was SOOO acidic and HORRIBLE!!

Great for Testing DIY Vinegar
I got these to test my homemade vinegars. They work very well as long as you follow the instructions. These strips are disposable and can only be used once, so don't try to reuse them again on other liquids. The resultant test colors on the strip may not 100% match the colors on the box or bottle, but it gives you a good idea of where the pH level falls for your tested liquid. I performed control tests by dipping one strip in filtered tap water (alkaline, high pH), a 2nd strip in white vinegar (acid, low pH), and a 3rd strip in cranberry juice (mid pH), and ended up with good results.

Inaccurate and unreliable.
Inaccurate and unreliable. Colors printed wrong on the guide, impossible to match to strips. Tested 20 strips to determine accuracy. Water came back PH 6. 5% acetic acid vinegar and 6% acetic acid vinegar both came back PH 4 or 5, household bleach came by PH 7. Way off. Don't trust it.

I would like it to be easier to read
I guess it works mediocre. I usually have a hard time telling if it is a 6 or 6.5 or a 7 or a 7.5.

Not accurate and very little instruction
I have to agree with AI summary that colors are inconclusive. Cant read colors that pretty much stay the same. Even the chart they use doesn't match the one they advertise

Not worth saving a few bucks.
I thought I would save a few bucks ordering these instead of the slightly more expensive ones. Not worth it. Registered my tap water as pH 4, which it most certainly is not.
