Review: Amazing supplement - ChatGPT recommended! - Smells bleh but the baby seems to like it! I had to get some added calories in my 3 (almost 4) month old kitty-baby after her spay and this really aided in her recovery. She wasn’t really eating for too long and lost so much weight fast because the intubation was too rough on her throat. This was a great addition and she was good with the texture of this when a lot of other textures was a no go (even churu). The texture was rather thick - like toothpaste but stickier. I placed a dab on my finger and she licked it right up with no problem. A few dabs added much needed calories/nutition during her recovery and was easy on her throat. I did 3-4 fingers 3-4 times a day for a week along with other higher calorie options that she would consume for less than a week and she was recovering beautifully. She had become skin and bones and I was scared for her but this came in clutch. It was actually recommended by ChatGPT so I purchased right away to get to her to gain back her lost weight. Now I give her 3 dabs once a day and it’s still a great addition. She is still in her recovery - 14 days post spay but 7 days post restitch so I still have a week to go. **Q: my 15 yr old cat doesnt have many teeth and the consistency seems to be hard for him to get down. can i mix it with water or something?**
A: I have a 16 year old female cat with mouth sores, so she has trouble even eating soft cat food. I mix a supplement like this with Gerbers meat (usually chicken or turkey, sometimes ham or beef) pureed babyfood, along with the "gravy" strained from Friskies canned food, like their mixed grill, to add feline diet essentials like taurine, and add chicken broth topper or bone broth, resulting in essentially a liquid diet. She has been doing well on this for over a year now. I was using "Miracle Vet" for a supplement, for over a year, but they recently changed something and she throws up if I add that, so I will be looking to add this as a replacement, since I have used this in the past as a supplement for another elderly cat.

**Q: Can someone please share the ingredient list for this? Not sure why there is no photo of the back of the tube on Amazon. :/**

**Q: Why does it state on back under nutritional information. "Supplement for use in dogs" is this an error?**
A: No this is not an error, but IS misleading by this company.  The reason for this is that originally this product said "for Dogs and Cats".  They found that a lot of people would NOT give it to their dogs because it had "Cats" on it and dogs should NOT eat cat food regularly (but it was MADE for both dogs and cats).  And some people would not give it to their cats because it had dogs on it.  If you check the label??????  It is EXACTLY the same for either dogs or cats, ingredient wise.  I buy either one and give it to both my dog, and my 2 cats.  Not a real problem, just a marketing thing!!!  And if it makes you feel better (emotionally) get the one for dogs (because cats can have dog stuff) and give it to your cat! I understand your confusion because I researched this in depth and spoke to my vet about it as well.

A: Yes.  After my cat stopped licking it from the tube, I did mix it with her wet food, and that worked well.

I bought this for some extra nutrients for my two rescue kittens . The fur on my Siamese turned so soft and clean looking . The calico’s fur didn’t really improve much but she had good fur to begin with . We noticed the calico putting on weight after about a week of getting this daily . The Siamese didn’t need help with the weight gain so we give him maybe half a dose . This is kind of like a gel, brown , kind of fishy smelling but it’s tolerable . The kittens love the flavor ! More so the calico. I squirt this on a plate with a small portion of blue buffalo wet cat food . (The kind in the pouch, not a can .) They took it ok on top of their dry kitten food but it fell in the cracks and they didn’t want to it eat once it sat at the bottom all day. It’s easier with a small portion of wet cat food /or something else . They eagerly wait for this to come out every morning . They gobble it up quicker than the wet cat food itself .
