Strong and perfect fit.
My old steering was looking rusty and all the boots had cracked or split on my 1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ. Bought this as a bolt on replacement. Removing the old hardware was harder than putting this new stuff on.Pros are perfect fit and feels sturdy.Cons are the bolts that clamp everything down seem flimsy either replace the bolts with better ones or get some washers to help spread out clamping pressure. Last is why did it not come with any cotter pins?

On road only
I put this steering in my 2000 xj with a 4.5" lift. First drive was great, handled real nice and seemed very sturdy. I know this isn't designed for offroad use, but with the size of these tie rods and being solid I would have expected alot better quality. Drove it in the woods one time and the adjusting sleeve bent inwards and hit the diff. If you expect to do even occasional light off reading, don't buy this steering. If your jeep stays on roads and never goes offroad, this is an excellent upgrade from the stock poor quality tie rod.

Definitely Worth It. No problems.
Good fit for my 1999 XJ. Everything went into place with ease. More bulky and sturdy than the original. Tightened up a lot of the play in my steering and smoothed it out. If you don't want to drill and worry about trying to make aftermarket fancy steering work. This is as simple as it gets, with the perk of having a bit more tough rod. Make sure you grease the ends yourself even though they come greased.

So far, so good... Heavier than OEM for sure
I used this product to replace my Currie Currectlync steering system that had bad joints after less than 12 months of light use. It installed easily and is beefier than the OEM links. Time will tell how this holds up, but it appears it will be more reliable than my previous links due to what appears to be better sealing of the joints. This also has slight bends in the rod to clear my Solid differential cover. I don't know that this will support the weight of the front end, but it appears to be a stout setup.

threads stripped on Drag link tie rod
After less than a years worth of on road use, the ball joint became loose at the drag link end. Tried to reverify torque at the drag link to 55 ft-lbs and it stripped. Not something I wanted to replace 7 months later.
