This is the True Beginning to the Dark Nights: Metal
Amazon incorrectly categorizes this as the last book in the series. This is the first. That being said, this is one fantastic story that leads into an equally outstanding series. There's plenty of setup and plot points taken from a wide variety of other sources. You don't need to know all the references, it's window dressing. It all comes together into setting up the Dark Multiverse. You should absolutely check this out.

Good but by far my least favorite of this series
Liked it, although the main story is kinda short and then in no order or fashion do they try to show you how the other stories connect to this Metal storyline. After the main story, it has snippets from other comics and they say they show the signs of something but to me it seemed to be in no order and just stories thrown in to make the page count longer. All good parts of other storylines but for some reason I just wanted it to be done so I can start the Heavy Metal series.

El Dark Days: The Road to Metal, es un buen preludio para todo el evento de Dark Days Metal, te hace un compilado de diferentes comics que precedieron el evento y que ya daban puntadas de lo que sucedería en el futuro, a parte también incluye un preludio creado especialmente para esta entrega, que te entrega un poco más de contexto con todo el evento. Para los fanáticos del comic, de Batman, y para aquellos que estén siguiendo el evento de Dark Days, esta compra les resultará util para entrar en contexto, y evitar un poco tener que leer trabajos anteriores como Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne de Alan Grant que de por si ya es algo extraño de leer, o el supremo Batman: Endgame de Scott Snyder que es una obra maestra con las ilustraciones de Greg Capullo. Dark Days: Road to Metal te permite ver brevemente partes de esos issues y otros más que están conectados con esta gran trama.

Amazing collection!
I've been into Batman my whole life, but never at this level. This collection is packed with a lot of lore and great stories. I'm starting the next one right away!

Great introduction to the Multiverse & Metal series
Great introduction to Metal Series. It collects a bunch of different story lines over the years and creates a great way to introduce the multiverse. Different artists and writers but seems to be put together as a great prelude to what is to come.

Great
Came in great condition. This one felt a little hard to follow since I didn’t have the context from the sources that made this story. But then again I have only recently returned to from years of being on hiatus from comics.

Éste cómic está genial, yo no soy fan de comprar cómics pero este sí lo quise adquirir por los dibujos tan excepcionales, la verdad que de los mejores trazos y una historia que te envuelve y te atrapa, lo recomiendo para coleccionistas y para contemplar el trabajo y los hermosos trazos. Lo consegui a 370 MXpesos ya no me espere a que bajara y lo compre. El único detalle fue que llegó con una raya en la portada, es casi imperceptible pero si eres muy minucioso se puede apreciar.

My copy came with a nice big dent in the corner, but it’s a graphic novel so I didn’t buy it as a collectible. This is a great book, I’m excited to start Metal now, and then get to The Batman Who Laughs.

Couldn't put it down. Really good. The main prelude story fits in nicely between new 52 and rebirth but you don't need to have read either to enjoy the metal series. The other comics included are good reads as well but not 100% necessary to enjoy the actual metal story.
