I'm a side sleeper and have finally found a blanket heavy enough to anchor my position in the bed without having to stack pillows all around me. Pillows that move and so, during the night, am waking to constantly reposition them and still I cannot relax my muscles. So, I tried a weighted blanket a couple of years ago and liked it but it still didn't do the job. Finally got tired of fighting pillows, sheets, and blankets all night. Went looking for a heavier solution. Found this 50 pound -- Yes! FIFTY POUNDS -- blanket. Let me tell you what. It works great. Now when I lay on my side I'm not fighting to stay there. The blanket acts like an anchor and keeps me stable. All my muscles can relax. I'M LOVING IT. The tiny glass beads in the small pockets do not poke my body. Beautifully constructed. Nice material. Love the color. And the price was very good.

Ive had a weighed blanket before and this one is a step up from that. I bought the one in black and it is really dark not like others that are merely color washed and look faded. this has a nice compression for 40lbs and i love that it has small loops if i want to use it inside a duvet. i find it very convienent that it is a large cover even for a queen size and has extra length to it. most of the time when my body feels tired and swollen, this blanket adds nice compression and the weight helps to relax my body. moving around, there isnt that much noise from the beads inside, no more than moving under a duvet cover which is nice. there wasnt any smell pulling the blanket out from the packaging which is great. it does feel a bit warm for the summer time but is mostly cool to touch. would be great for the winter with a thick blanket. to the touch, it is soft and comforting like cotton and feels double lined to help the stitching. i did notice better sleep with this blanket on the first night of using but note how heavy you want to buy the balnket. i could have gone with a lighter weight and still feel comfortable for more daily use. overall good value for what i paid for.

I was given this blanket as a gift from a friend and I cannot stress enough how thankful I am to have one! I've been wanting one for few years now because I have very bad anxiety when it comes to finally hitting the sack, but now with the blanket going to sleep has been surprisingly easy! As of writing this review, I've had the blanket for a little over two weeks now and I can easily say that it's improved my sleeping when compared to my old sleeping schedule. It's my first time ever owning a weighted blanket, so I'm not too sure how to judge it, but the weight of the blanket overall is personally really nice. It's not too heavy where it feels like your suffocating, but not too light where it feels like it's barely there. It's just right! The only thing I do have to say that slightly bothered me was the fact there was no weight on the corners and sides of the blanket. So sometimes when I moved around the edge and outside of the blanket felt sometimes light and it didn't feel like there was any sort of weight there, but since I don't really know what weighted blankets are normally like, I can't say that my tiny little pet peeve is too big or too small of an issue. Besides from that, I really adore this blanket and I can't find a place to complain about it! Now my actual personal experience with it; I have very bad anxiety when I finally hit my head on the pillow. I have a MAJOR fear over the dark and it's a main reason why I can't sleep at night. I tried noise machines, listening to music, night lights, and even burning oils to help me calm me down but it never works! I can't count all the nights how many times I laid in bed tossing and turning because of my anxiety keeping me up. When I got the blanket, I was a tad skeptical that it would help me with my fear of the dark, but as soon as I got under the blanket and hit my head on the pillow I fell RIGHT to sleep with no issue at all. I thought I was losing my mind when I woke up from an actual good night's sleep the next morning. After a week I even went back to my old blanket and I noticed such a HUGE difference when I did. If I can even notice the difference one night of not using it, I'm positive that it has helped me immensely the past two weeks of owning it! Overall, I think it's an amazing blanket despite my little complaint. It works just as it intended to be and it has helped a lot with my sleep schedule by a landslide! I highly recommend it to those who are wanting to try out a weighted blanket for their first time and/or needing it to improve their attempts at sleeping like myself! The shipping was fast and no hassle at all. Just be ready to carry in a heavy box when it arrives at your home! It was.... a fun time for my family to see me haggle in this very heavy box for twenty minutes just for them to find out it was my blanket haha!

My husband likes tons of blankets to add weight to our bed and frankly, changing the bedding was a pain so that’s why I got this. I ordered the 50 pound king size blanket and looked like a complete idiot trying to get that box in the house. Sorry Amazon driver, whoever you were. I unpacked it and was pretty impressed with the workmanship - specifically looking for places the beads (or whatever the heavy things are) could leak out. After it was all the way unfolded, it was a perfect size for our extra deep mattress. The blanket hung over the sides enough that I knew it would stay put. Little did I know ain’t nothing going nowhere with that blanket! I do believe this would keep you in place in the middle of a tornado. Sooo, I got laughed at when I excitedly showed it to my husband and he good naturedly climbed under it and pronounced it nice, climbed out and that was the end of the big reveal. BUT. The next morning he said he slept amazing and in the weeks following has told everyone about it. He seriously loves it. What’s weird is with all that weight, you don’t get so hot you sweat. Is it magic? I have no idea how this thing will ever get cleaned because it’s so big and so heavy, but I’m sure spot cleaning and keeping it between layers should suffice. I feel like the price of this was extremely fair, and am thinking about getting a smaller one for the guest bed.

I have a lot of trouble sleeping and figured that trying a weighted blanket was worth a shot. I got the grey 20lb blanket for a queen bed. Really like the color. With regards to size, it does fit the bed and cover the mattress well. If you have a box spring though, it doesn't reach that far down and will leave that exposed. When I first got the blanket, I feel like I was able to sleep much better the first night or two. After that though, I don't know that I really felt much of a difference. I do like the feeling of having more weight on me, but it doesn't seem to be the root cause if my sleeping issues. In my opinion, the weight does seem pretty evenly distributed. It works great for cool nights, but on hotter nights I was not able to use it. I do also miss the feeling of a more plush blanket, but this one is still relatively soft. Just another thing to note is that you can't (or at least probably shouldn't) wash this in a washing machine. So getting it cleaned at a dry cleaner or spot cleaning are the main options I can think of. Overall, still think it can be a great option for those looking for a weighted blanket. Just wasn't quite what I needed. No issues with the quality of the blanket but taking off one star since it was a little disappointing it didn't work for me and it was a little pricey.

So I purchased this 20 lb white weighted blanket back in 2021 when we first moved in but never used it. I have never used a weighted blanket before. I’ve always used down comforters which I love because I sleep hot and they really do keep you cool. Since we had this cold front coming in, I decided to see what all the hype was about 2 years ago and finally use our weighted blanket. OMG! Why didn’t y’all tell me about these blankets before? Weighted blankets are THE BEST thing ever! I will never buy another down comforter again! First the weight is perfect. It’s just enough to make you feel secure so if someone tries to stab you in the middle of the night you’re protected. 🤣🤣🤣 Am I the only one who thinks like that? Next there is no bulk to it. It lays flat and makes your bed look nice and neat like a luxury hotel bed and not a college dorm room. Also it really does keep you cool. And this particular one is rated for summer and winter. Last but not least, unlike every down comforter I’ve ever owned, this one is big enough to cover the sides of my king bed! This one is machine washable and you let it air dry. I will be using these for all of my guests beds going forward. If you’ve never slept with one, I highly recommend them. They will change your sleeping life!

I’ve had a weighted blanket before and it was small and light and lasted less than a month before all of the weight was at the edges and it was useless. THIS blanket is fantastic. I’ve intentionally “waited” todo this review to make sure that the blanket lasted before I gave a glowing review. And indeed this review is glowing. The ONLY negative (and it’s really not even on the scale) is that the color said red but this blanket is more a maroon or burgundy. Truthfully, I’m my case I had ordered some “eggplant” bamboo sheets which arrived and were burgundy or maroon as well so the blanket is an absolute, perfect match. Now to the blanket itself. It’s soft! Really. It’s almost like satin material. It’s still going strong with the weight still evenly distributed after two month is use. And now to address something that I read about in reviews that I read when I bought this blanket. Is it warm? Am I hot? Is it cool? This was really confusing to me because the fact is what’s warm for me may be cool to someone else and Vice verse. BUT, I think I’ve found a way to describe this. I run my thermostat at 74 degrees during waking hours and at bedtime it drops to 71 degrees automatically. (Caveman style right?) so one would think this would be cool. But under this blanket, I’m comfortable. I breathe cool, refreshing air which helps me sleep while my body is VERY comfortable under this amazing blanket - neither warm nor cool but COMFORTABLE and ready for sleep. The weight is PERFECT for a king-size bed - I got the 40-lb one. It relieves any anxiety and keeps me relaxed until I’m asleep. And that covers all the reasons why I bought this blanket. If you have others, you’re on your own. But if these cover your reasons, you won’t find a better blanket. Get this blanket and enjoy it. It’s that simple.

Where have I been all these years?! Bought a 40 pound piece of cloth and loving every minute of sleeping under it. This weighted blanket is so comfortable, basically comforms to your body, warm yet breathable, and doesn't move around during the night. I bought a nice duvet for it, but I didn't like the way it fit. We'll see what it's like to clean it. But for now, I'm enjoying a great night's sleep!

This is the luxury of conferters. It is soft enough and cold enough.! I was pretty impressed with it and would never go back! It does fit over all the bed and I would suggest that if you buy for a bigger to get the heavier the better because the weighted surface is larger thus diluded. Good stuff!!!

I spent quite sometime researching before making the leap and ordering this blanket, the reviews definitely helped with making the decision, I can promise you they are not paid for reviews. My experience is right on par with most that have taken the time to do so. First off one of the best parts is that it fit exactly into our old duvet cover and matched up to the corner ties which was a huge aspect for me. It fits perfectly for a large king size bed with great coverage draping over the mattress with my wife and I under it. We chose the 30lb option a higher percentage than suggested for our body weight, am I ever glad we did. This blanket naturally swatled our bodies for one of the best sleeps I have ever had, did not wake once through out the night until my alarm went off for work in the morning. I usually wake and stir 5-6 times through out the night and often find I am awake about 20 mins each time before I can settle back to sleep only to wake again an hour or so later. For those that are concerned at excessive heat trapped from these blankets, as I was going into the purchase.... if you have a ceiling fan above your bed, put it to medium settings and the flow of air seems enough to keep the blanket cool almost as transference of surface temperature. I sleep quite hot and this actually kept me cooler than our previous Duvets in the past. So if you are debating on getting one of these or another product. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO BUY THIS ONE!!! You will not be disappointed at all!!

In the 1990s, I bought into the idea of the great "down comforter", which was supposed to make you feel like you didn't even have any weight on you at all. I've been sleeping under one ever since, and finding more and more that I absolutely cannot get back to sleep after I wake up, either at 3am, 4am or 5am. I had heard about these weighted blankets, and thought it was time to try one. This one worked perfectly with the king bed we have. We don't notice the tiny glass beads (which give the blanket its weight), and they are all securely sewn into little squares (so no shifting about). Best of all, we get this comforting weight on us while we sleep, with no overheating. The blanket knocks me out, quite literally. I fall asleep fast, and enjoy a deep sound sleep. I sometimes wake up at night, but can easily fall back to sleep again, even at 6am. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this blanket to anyone looking for a great sleep.
