Metabo HPT 16 Gauge Finish Nailer, Lightweight 1-2.5in, NT65M2S

I had a smaller Hitachi-branded version. It worked well at one time but needed a rebuild. I looked at this item. It is very easy to operate. It holds a good capacity of nails. The price was good. The tool is a high-quality piece. It is easy to operate and will save you tons of time when doing trim moldings.

Rrplaced a worn out Porter Cable and so far it has performed perfectly. Shoots 2 1/2 inch nails without any trouble. Appears to be a quality product. So far, no jams and I'm pleased with its performance.

Great nailer, good power, reliable feed. Only used once but no problems at all out of the box. Shot trim and casing around a door with every shot hitting and no blowouts or wanky behavior. I considered the cordless option but my experience with nailers is that compressor guns are reliable and dialing in the air pressure gives more control over the result.

Very nice but a few minor issues. 1st-if using in an inverted position the next clip of nails hangs up on the magazine due to gravity and fails to feed causing misfires. Once I realize what was happening I unlocked the magazine and push the clip past the notch. Other issue-the round "guard" that must be pushed to shoot a nail is plastic and slippery making it difficult to toe nail as it slips and one cannot accurately place the nail. I think I can modify it and maybe file some teeth or notches so it can dig into the stud and does not skid. I placed many nails without issue but what I mentioned.

Works great. Easy to load and fairly lightweight. I use it all day on some jobs and have had it for some time and it has never jammed. The reason I bought it is because my old one was worn out and kept jamming costing me too much time on the job. I would buy this gun again. I especially like the air discharge at the top. Pull the button and it’s like a mini blow gun. Great for a quick clearing of the table or miter saw.
