JessEm 04215 Clear-Cut Precision Stock Guides with Dual Roller Hold-Down System for Router Table Fences

These are nicely engineered and built hold downs. They fit my JessEm router table fence very well and work smoothly.

I have A Incra system on both my table saw and my shaper, due to the lower profile on the Incra fences I couldn't use my various feather boards I own, and had to make my own which worked but I saw these and thought why not give it a try , and I could return them if they didn't work. Well they are an awesome addition to my. incra fences, infact I no longer use feather boards to push the stock into the fence as the offset rollers pull the stock into the fence with a nice bit of force. I had to run a 12' board through my shaper, and I always set up extension tables for this type of work as support. I have 2 sets of these Jessems, due to an order error, (not amazons issue- another mail order place took my order, lost it, and then shipped them to me after canceling my order) so I set up a pair on both sides of the fence - locked everything down and ran the board through with NO problem, it stayed tight against the fence. They are quick to adjust. Two cons, they aren't for stock over an 11/4" on my Incra fences and do not use the Allen wrench they supply to tighten it on your fence, I ended up causing a slight mushrooming on one my fences that I ended up machining out. 5 stars as they work as they are advertised!

I saw these at my local Woodworkers and got a pair to try on my BenchDog Router Table & Fence. Install was as easy as sliding them into place and setup for hold-down pressure, which was so much easier and quicker than feather board setup. I later added a second pair and now have two on the in-feed side and two on the out-feed side of my fence - works PERFECT. Hold down pressure is easy to set (even using four), adds anti-kickback protection, and the 5 degree cant pulls my work solidly into the fence without making the feed too difficult - great balance. In use I was pushing several 12' pieces through while making complex molding, due to the length I had to pause and walk to the out-feed side and pull the last bit through - with these guides there was no burning, and no deviation where I'd paused, perfectly smooth like I'd used and auto feed. As an added benefit, when needed I can use them on my table saw fence as well. Jessom makes another great product would highly recommend!

Decided to try these as I've found featherboards on the router fence more annoying than helpful. These stock guides are a definite improvement and make for a more smooth passage of the work across the router table. Build quality is quite good and the guide assemblies have a real heft to them. The t-track on my Kreg fence sits slightly behind the working surface of the fence, so I had to shim the guides with a washer on each of the t-bolts--easy fix. Without shimming the guide assemblies would tilt away from the fence along the bottom as the knobs were tightened. This is just a quirk of my fence design. A flush-mounted t-track would require no shimming. Only quibble I have is that my kit arrived with only one of the knurled knobs broached for the included hex wrench you might want to use for setting the roller height. For extended routing a bit of extra tightening can be a good idea to prevent vibration loosening the knob. If your hands are getting a little arthritic the added leverage given by the hex wrench can be a real help. This product packaging error is minor, and is the only reason for my 4-star rating, but I'm not alone here as I came across a few other complaints with regard to missing hardware or other product problems with JessEm kit while researching router lifts, tables, and fence systems. Given the costs, more attention to detail would be welcome.

these guide rollers do their job very well and are easy to set up and adjust for various workpiece thickness. they are far easier to use than featherboards and are less in the way.

High quality item. Easy to install and adjust. Makes my router bit cut a smoother and more consistent edge.

Easy to adjust. Hold boards securely while allowing easy feed and better visibility than most feather boards. Anti kickback feature also works great.

I'm fairly new to router work, and can't help but think that I might have lost at least one fingertip if it weren't for receiving these little helpers. The price kept this on my wish list for a year or more, and although I sort of wish I'd held out for the Jessem Clear-Cut TS Stock Guides (they weren't available for shipping to NZ) I am pretty happy with these. They're solidly made, and do a great job holding my timber down close to the bit on my router table.

Gute 180 Euro für sowas ist heftig! Es funktioniert und das ist Sinn der Sache! Bei dem Preis muss aber auch die Verarbeitung stimmen und wie kann angeblich neue Ware, original verpackt eine 5mm Schlagstellen an der Kante haben mit abgeplatzter Eloxierung? Die gefrästen Taschen haben saumäsige Frässpuren! Geht zurück und neu bestellt! Update der 2. Lieferung folgt! Update: 2. Lieferung war besser aber immer noch nicht im Ansatz wertig!
