No, you can use Foscam App on your smartphone or Foscam VMS on your PC to access and configure your camera. What are the mounting options? Can I mount this onto a wall?

It has a mount with screws. Any tripod mount will work as it has 1/4" 20 screw mount on bottom. Its best to mount it inverted on the ceiling or close to the ceiling as you will get much better viewing of the room.
