I used a whole tub of polish and just about wore out the polish pad. I guess it is as good as it’s going to be. Review: Works very well and does all the work for you. - The buffer is awesome, but the small hex drill attachment on the shaft broke off after a few minutes of use. I cut the plastic tube and just re-attached the drill right to the shaft, after that it worked fine. The buffer is a great aide and polishes like nobodies business and quickly. I used it on large 22.5" Alcoa aluminum motorhome wheels. They were badly oxidized after 24 years of neglect. They look like chrome wheels now!! The buffer itself is foam rubber and doesn't lend itself to cleaning. I tried to wash it in strong detergent but it's still covered in black sludge.
