MyGica ATV495MAX Certified AndroidTV Built in Chrome Cast and Google Assistant ATV 495 Max Android TV OS Box

This thing is seriously underpowered for the $$. Can't stream from playstation vue smoothly even with a hard wired connection. Also, despite being Google certified, Netflix isn't an available app. Still running Android 7.1 in 2019. Can play most of my local media but too many compromises for 100 bucks. Save yourself the headache and get a shield.

This is the 4th MyGica box I have bought for myself or family but the first ATV495MAX. First thing to note is that this box runs Android TV and for some reason doesn't have an internet browser and can't install chrome. Netflix is not supported but MyGica provides a patch on their FAQ site, I have had mixed results with this patch, it has worked on one device but not the 2nd. YouTube video sometimes freezes 10-20 seconds in while audio keeps running. On the one box that Netflix is working the audio is sometimes way out of sync. Considering this unit has "chromecast" built in, it's important to note that I have never been able to cast Netflix. Amazon Prime Video doesn't support chromecast on iPhone and obviously can't just get the app on Google Play. This is basically a YouTube machine. Garbage.

...The box were never able to connect to my WIFI even if it found my network and saved it, never never been able to use my WIFI. I tried to follow the product website recommandation and reset the box without success, tried this couple of times! The last but not the least, my MyGica Android TV box shuts off by itself after about an hour of being on! Never been able to watch a whole movie! Frustrating!! I am suspecting overheating issue!! very very disappointed..How I am I supposed to replace a cable with such functioning??

Terrible product the remote wouldn't even sync to the Box, in the Box didn't work properly had to send it back

Would give the remote 0 stars, if possible! The device itself also has poor reception. - Would NOT recommend to anyone.

I am very tech savvy can not get the remote to work for the life of me not happy to have to print a return label with out a printer
