There's something pretty satisfying about having a great coffee in the middle of nowhere. ☕️ I rotate between this and a locally roasted coffee I really enjoy, but I keep coming back to Super Crema. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent value for espresso and lattes

I’m a coffee nerd and usually buy medium roast coffees for espresso, so I was curious how Super Crema would compare after all the forums talked about it. The bag I received was roasted almost three months earlier. I would always prefer fresher beans, but that was better than I expected for a large 2.2 lb bag of coffee ordered from Amazon. The beans look like a medium roast to me, though on the darker side, which I was happy about because some other Lavazza coffees I’ve tried have been much darker than I prefer. I was able to dial these in pretty quickly and have been pulling excellent shots over the past week. Even at nearly three months off roast, I’m still getting tons of crema and a really nice looking espresso. The flavor isn’t necessarily my favorite coffee I’ve ever had, but for the price it’s excellent. It has a pleasant amount of complexity without anything being too overpowering, along with a really nice mouthfeel that works especially well in milk drinks. It makes an awesome latte and still has enough coffee flavor to come through the milk. Since it’s such a large bag, I transferred the beans into airtight containers after opening it. One other thing I’ve noticed is that this blend seems to hit me a little harder caffeine-wise than the medium roast coffees I usually drink, which makes sense considering it contains some Robusta.
