These are a great, well-made product. My family has used them for years, they are quite durable, easy-to-use, very effective and portable.

I used my first sharpener for years and I finally wore it out. I’m sure I will never have to replace this one. This is an amazing sharpener for a beginner to learn with and you will not ruin you knives. I keep a second one in the kitchen just to take care of kitchen knives and scissors.

I really like the sharpener very much. It's easy to use and does a great job on my knives. I would recommend it.

JUST received this "EDGEMAKER PRO DELUXE" Kitchen Knife Sharpener last week, and have ONLY just used it for sharpening a FEW of Our kitchen knives over past couple days.....So, have really NOT used it enough to give it a "PROPER" evaluation, as of yet! SEEMs to be about "SAME Quality" as Our OLDER "EDGEMAKER PRO" kitchen knife sharpener & hone, which I purchased in a hardware store where I was working Approx. 13 Years ago....That "EDGEMAKER PRO" sharpener served my family & I pretty WELL in Our kitchen, doing a pretty "Good" job of sharpening kitchen knives (!!), until just during last year Or so: The "steels" of sharpener finally just "Dulled" and wore-out! But I'd say almost a "Decade-&-a-Half" is pretty darn "Good" for such a product!! IF the "New" one lasts THAT LONG, I'll be "Happy"!! IF-so: It MAY just "Out-Last" me, anyway, Hah!

Works quickly and easily, requires no previous experience. Sharpening and honing was easy but there is not enough room to smooth the edge on large kitchen knives.

As an avid Hunter I us my skinning knife often. So I need to keep it sharp. This is just what I have been looking for. Always had trouble sharpening my knifes. This works so good I can shave the hair on my arm.

Ive used this product for years and love it. A couple swipes on this and a nice sharpe blade. Highly recommend!!

This Edgemaker Pro is outstanding. Most other hand held knife sharpeners that I’ve used have been almost worthless. The only advice I would offer is to use a very, very light hand. There is no need to bear down with the knife and only a very few passes are necessary to sharpen straight edge knives. (If you listen carefully you can hear the rough edge being smoothed). I would have given this a 5 star, but I haven’t yet used it on scissors or serrated knives. And, honestly, the directions could have been better, but the product is excellent.
