Nature's Bounty, Vitamin B-2, 100 mg, 100 Tablets

Nature's Bounty is a trusted source for good quality supplements. Capsules are as easy (or difficult) to swallow as other capsules. There is the added bonus of capsules being able to be opened and sprinkled on food, if you are not able to swallow them. I won't discuss the benefits of vitamin B2 but will say that I could feel a difference and the quality of of these is the same high standard as other Nature's Bounty products.

Quality and value are imperative to me and this is inline with maker. I do not notice any taste when taking this. It seems to help my migraines.

First I want to say that you should always take the advise of your doctor. They know what is best for you. I wouldn't be taking this except my neurologist said to. I have trigeminal neuralgia so I have headaches every day. This is suppose to help the nerves in my face and head and it has helped but hasn't stopped the headaches completely. I haven't noticed a taste when I take them. They do not melt immediately when you put them on your tongue. They are hard and have a slight coating, probably to help them slide down. They haven't upset my stomach. The alarming thing is that it turns your urine a very dark yellow. Thank goodness she warned me but I wasn't expecting that much. It also makes your urine smell really strong. I swear I can also smell it on my body to the point where I was taking two showers a day. I wonder if it leaches out in your sweat. I haven't yet talked to my doctor about this to see if others have had the same issue. This is not something you will normally find wherever you get your vitamins though a pharmacist can usually order it for you. Just know that Amazon has the best price. It is not something that you will get in a few days either so plan ahead. Just remember to talk to your doctor first before taking this.

I was told by my daughters doctor to get her vitamin b2 to help prevent her frequent migraines. Well she can’t ever to remember to take them so I’ve been taking them for my very frequent migraines. Here’s my experience: This past summer my migraines decided to take over my life; I’ve always been a migraine sufferer but not this bad. Ive been prescribed imitrex for years and hadn’t had any issues with taking it as needed until I had a bad experience with it once and decided to look elsewhere for relief/prevention. I started out taking just one pill daily and after a few days I noticed the lower part of my face was always itchy. So I stopped taking it and it went away. I read flushing could be a possible side effect. So I started cutting it in half and took that for awhile then eventually moved up. Well the itching on my face is gone and my migraines have subsided. It also helps the appearance of my skin, especially on my hands and fingers. Also your urine will turn bright yellow! But that’s normal. **I’VE ALSO COMBINED ACUPUNCTURE WITH VITAMIN B2 WHICH I THINK HELPED PLAY A BIG PART IN MY MIGRAINES GOING AWAY / REDUCING THE SEVERITY OF THEM. Review: The pill isn’t smooth so some may have a hard time swallowing it, I don’t. (I’ve included pictures) I can’t say anything sufficient about this brand compared to others since this is my first time trying B2. And I can’t say for sure if the vitamin alone has helped my migraines or if it was in combination with the Acupuncture but my migraines have took a turn for the best. Also glad I was able to find them here since they are hard to find in regular stores.

As a migraine sufferer who is currently pregnant, I was desperate in finding good, quality supplements to help prevent migraines. I was initially taking coenzyme Q10, which did a decent job at migraine prevention before I became pregnant; however, once I hit my second trimester, it didn't work. My regular doctor recommended magnesium tablets with Riboflavin (vitamin B2) supplements in the past, which didn't really help (before I was pregnant). My OB/GYN recommended that I try them again. This time I tried the Nature's Bounty brand instead of what ever brand my regular doctor prescribed me in the past. The combination of the magnesium and this vitamin B2 has been working wonders for me. I haven't had a migraine in quite some time, so I'm very thankful for it.
