I also thought it would take some time to get used to using, but I was immediately setting a couple of new kovaak's high scores. Also some say to stay away from the XSoft, but as long as you aren't putting a stupid amount of pressure into your mouse it's fine. Even in the rare times I feel my mouse dig into the pad a bit it doesn't affect the movability as much as you would think. I will say though while the Large is fine for me since I pick up to recenter a lot, I would recommend the XL if they are in stock just to be safe. You can tell right away from the material quality that this mousepad is a cut above your standard QCK, Logitech, etc. This thing never budges to the point that it's practically glued to your desk.
