One CANNA COCO Brick makes 20 liters (0.7 cu. ft.) of coco medium. Review: Canna coco coir - What can I say canna coco is the best I’ve tried other coco coir and it just doesn’t measure up Review: What a Great Product! - Nobody within a 30 mile radius carries coco coir. And since I like my delivery people, I decided to try Canna Coco Bricks. When the package arrived I thought I hope I ordered enough. Then I rehydrated 1 package. It easy to do thanks to the heavy duty bag it packaged with. It rehydrated quickly and is light, fluffy, and has a uniform consistency. I can't wait to start planting.

The best coco there is
It’s not just the coco that canna makes that’s great. They are well studied and create top to bottom nutrients that work fantastic together. This is well worth the price. I usually put a few bricks in a large storage bin and water then cover for a night. The next day it breaks down into a beautiful substrate. Add some perlite and you’ll have one of the best mediums you can grow in. It’s honestly relaxing to break down after an overnight bin. It’s smells rich and clean. Big fan of everything I have used from Canna. Thankful I found them early on and have never felt the need to look elsewhere. I don’t think there’s another coco that can compete with them.

Great Product!!!
Great substrate for all kinds of plants from veggies to herbs and tropical plants! My palm trees have completely made a 180 since repotting them from the soil they were brought home in! You can physically see the water being held in the soil and not draining out the bottom of the pot, texture is super soft to the touch and it’s not stinky like other soils!

Canna coco
Add 1½ to 2 gallons of water per bag for perfect consistency.

Pre washed, easy to reconstitute, comes in heavy duty mixing bags. Perfect.
First time growing vegetables indoor with this product. I’ve used soil bases before and this product is much better. It does not compact like soil and if you mix it with 15-20 percent pearlite and water till 10 to 20 percent run off, it holds well. You can separate the block in half and that will give you enough mix coco/pearlite and that will fill a 3 gallon planter to about 1 inch from the top. So you can get 2, 3gallon planters from one coco brick plus the pearlite for drainage and retention.

If not the best right up there at the top
There are so many bad Coco Coir blocks on the market. A lot of them have not been washed, or adjusted for pH level. Coco blocks are ready to go and you won’t have the issues that you will have with other brands. They are more expensive, but when you factor in what all you have to do to the other blocks to get them ready, it’s worth the extra money. I would love to see them lower the price though if possible.

So far…
First time using Canna, I usually use organic soil and powdered fertilizer where applicable. Even though I read all about coco , I didn’t know what to expect. nothing not to like about it so far. Alas, I have only been trying it out for a short while, so do not listen to me.
